Chapter 26
Sam noticed that Ryan became quiet and he seemed to be concentrating. His eyes widened in realization.
"He's going to alert others telepathically," Sam said and immediately dashed at Ryan, hitting him in the chest with his fist.
Ryan grunted and staggered back. He regained balance before he could fall.
His hands clutched tightly around his briefcase and he retaliated, swiping his hand forward and smashing the edge of the briefcase into Sam's face.
Sam grunted and his face bent sideways as blood spurted out of his mouth.
Cole's eyes widened as he watched Sam fall to the floor. He looked forward, facing Ryan in a defensive position and he kicked Ryan's left hand with force.
The briefcase flew out of Ryan's grip and Cole immediately charged at him.
Before the briefcase could fall, Ryan caught it with his right hand, and almost immediately, he kicked Cole in his groin.
