Kyoko stifled a yawn with one of his hands and extended the other, stretching his body after a long day at work.
"You have a date with your lover right?"
Seto spoke from behind, startling the poor boy's heart.
"Don't you have anything better to do?"
"Aww, how cold. Even though I love you so much." Seto rested his arms on Kyoko's shoulder, resting his forehead on the latter's nape.
"Don't slack off, owner."
Kyoko dismissed his words.
"Whatever. It's an area-
Seto was interrupted when somebody from behind tugged his collar and pulled him behind, detaching him from Kyoko.
"Ouch! That hurts, you hooligan."
He snarled at Arnold, the culprit, who was rather standing proud despite getting chewed off by Seto.
He averted his gaze towards Kyoko, who was clad in a white woollen oversize turtleneck sweater and blue ripped jeans, tapping his watch he signalled Kyoko that it was time for their sweet lovey-dovey date.
"Man, just go before I die from diabetes."
Seto rolled his eyes and pushed both of them out of the bar.

The car stopped in front of a gigantic building, proudly soaring towards the sky.
"Kade Vyakur." Was carved on top of it with a beautiful golden colour.
The presentation itself spoke nothing more than the elite, after all, it was the only decent hotel suite in the whole of Sethia city.
The interior didn't fail the expectations led by the outer appearance. The dining hall was coloured in creamy white, a huge golden chandelier perfectly complimenting it.
The floor had black carpet spread over and many little curvy portions were pointing out of it, ending at the tables clothed in maroon red clothing and red velvet chairs, but they were empty. A huge one-sided window made it possible to look at the night view while enjoying the food.
"Why is there no one?"
Kyoko meant to keep it a thought but his mouth said otherwise and uttered those words out loud.
Arnold chuckled when he saw Kyoko pressing his finger on his lips with a blush spreading on his cheeks.
"I reserved the whole place. I don't like crowds."
Kyoko nodded in understanding, Arnold doesn't like what he doesn't, no point in pressing further.
Kyoko was busy gawking at the pretty little scripture designs on the walls, and only after when he was sat in the chair and the waiter came to ask for their order, he was pulled out from his little world.
He fumbled while opening the menu book, while Arnold stared at him as though he was the most adorable guy in the universe.
"Umm... I
Kyoko hesitated after realising the price of each meal was much more than his monthly salary.
Even if we divide the bill, I would go broke. He thought.
"Bring today's special course and the finest wine you have." Arnold dismissed the waiter, impatient to have his alone time with Kyoko.
"You were taking a bit too long."
Arnold shrugged.

"Haaah, I am stuffed," Kyoko said, taking a long breath.
"Was the food to your liking?" Arnold asked. They were now taking a walk on the way to Kyoko's apartment.
"Of course!"
"Then let's come often."
Kyoko gave him a 'are you serious?' look.
"You said you liked the food."
"Yeah, but not enough for me to go broke."
"I can pay." Arnold didn't even leave a second before answering, he just wanted excuses to be with Kyoko.
"No way. You even paid today. I am not that shameless."
He puffed his cheeks, throwing daggers at Arnold.
"Since I invited you, it makes sense for me to pay."
"Oh a gentleman, are we?" Kyoko nudged Arnold with his elbow, teasing him for his remark.
"If you want, I can be a bad boy too."
Kyoko dead stared at Arnold, trying to confirm if it was a joke but he didn't find any glint of playfulness from the latter.
Only a pair of eyes full of adoration greeted him.
Flustered with the current situation, he blurted; "Anyway, you have to check Seto's cooking too, he is the best!"
Seto. The bar owner.
For some reason, Arnold seemed a bit irritated.
"Darling." He called out, lovingly.
Kyoko still had a long way to go for him to stop blushing from all the love Arnold showers him.
"Hmm. What is it?"
"Seto is a beta right?"
"Yes!" Kyoko exclaimed.
Ever since Kyoko had said he thought of a beta mate, Arnold had some kind of unknown hostility for Betas.
"Leave the job." He blurted out.
Confused at Arnold's sudden mood swing, Kyoko asked him in a calm tone. "What's the matter?"
"Can you do that for me? We are already dating and I plan to marry you one day. So you would've to leave Sethia, the earlier the better."
Baffled at Arnold's sudden declaration, Kyoko still tried to maintain his calm, hiding his joy about hearing how his matter had too planned about their future and decided to press on a more important matter- his job at the bar. But it was true, he can't make Arnold stay in Sethia for longer, who knows when the curse might strike.
"That's for the future, but right now, I can't leave the job."
"If it's about to pay, then I can recommend you to an even better place."
"That's not the case at all."
Tired of sorting out his reasons, Arnold finally gave up and asked: "Then what is it?"
"I can't leave Seto alone."
"You like him?"
Being utterly dumbfounded Kyoko let out a snort followed by a hysterical laugh.
"You don't mean romantically, do you?"
He managed to ask between his laughs.
"I never knew, my jealousy could be a matter to laugh at."
"Sorry, sorry. It was just too funny. Why would you think that I would like him?"
Kyoko wiped the tears forming on the corner of his eyes, a result of laughing too much.
"Didn't you say, you wanted a beta to be your fated mate?"
"Did I?"
"...."
The realisation hit Kyoko. "Wait, you meant what I said when we first met?"
Arnold didn't say a word but rather nodded.
Kyoko let out a sigh. "You... seriously. I was just shocked to see an alpha in Sethia. You might've noticed how all the people here are only betas and omegas, so I naturally thought that. You are my fated mate, not an alpha or a beta, it's you and that won't change." He tiptoed and clumsily kissed the top of Arnold's forehead.
"And about Seto, he is my brother."
"What? You guys don't even remotely resemble each other."
"We grew up in the same orphanage and since we both were found on the same day, we naturally grew closer like brothers."
Kyoko chuckled.
"So don't be jealous of him."
A sour taste left Arnold's mouth and he pulled Kyoko into a hug, his big frame completely taking in Kyoko's petite one.
"Darling."
He nuzzled his nose further in his hair and took a deep breath before breaking the hug. He tried to find the right words to comfort Kyoko but he knew whatever he said wouldn't change his past, so the only thing he could do was to be sincere.
"I like you."
Tears filled Kyoko's eyes and he flashed the brightest smile he could pull off at the moment.
"I like you too."
Regardless, of the short time they knew each other, the bond they had formed couldn't be denied by both of them.
Especially for Kyoko, who had dedicated his life to the thoughts of his mate, even before meeting him, and despite being a low-class omega, Arnold accepted him without a second thought.
If I ask for more happiness, I will surely get a divine punishment.
Pushing aside his thoughts, Kyoko stared at Arnold's hazel brown eyes, each breath pulling them together until their lips met.
Just as it was about to be more passionate, Kyoko broke the kiss, earning a whine from Arnold.
He chuckled at his childish mate and grabbed his hand, he said:
"My place is just around the corner, won't you stay the night?"
