"Seto, do I look okay?" Kyoko asked the same question for the nth time. He looked at Seto in anticipation, his anxiousness was evident on his face and his hands were sweaty cold.
"Yeah yeah," Seto replied without glancing at Kyoko, he had given up on him. Kyoko was getting himself ready, both physically and mentally to join lunch with Arnold's family. Because he drunk promised him and now the thing he is feeling is a lump in his throat because of how anxious he was and Seto ignoring him was not making it any better.
"Come on-
"Oh someones at the door, must be your chauffeur," Seto said after the doorbell was heard.
Kyoko muttered something barely above his breath and rushed to open the door, as expected it was Arnold.
"Darling, ready to go?"
He smiled, making Kyoko's heart skip a beat.
Although he was not ready, he nodded his head. "Then let's go?"
"Just one more thing!" Kyoto rushed inside and brought a small box wrapped in a blue wrapper.
"Okay, we can leave now."
After riding for a while, Arnold finally stopped his car in front of a huge gate, after recognizing his car the guards opened the door only to reveal a huge mansion in the centre of a huge area surrounded by gardens and paths. Kyoko unconsciously gasped, earning Arnold's attention.
After gaining his awareness, Kyoko looked away, flustered. "Did you like your future house?" Arnold teased him, earning himself a 'shut up' from the latter.
Arnold parked the car and opened the door for Kyoko, Kyoko extended his cold sweaty hand and held Arnold's hand. Understanding how worried Kyoko was, he squeezed his hand a little, ascertaining him that he was there and it will be alright. Kyoko bobbed his head a bit and took a long breath.
At the door, some maids and a butler greeted them, to which Kyoko returned the gesture by smiling.
"You guys came! You must be Kyoko, aww look how cute you are." A girl barely in his late 20s cheered at them. Arnold tilted his head a bit and whispered: "My older sister, Evelyn."
Kyoko quickly greeted her and hugged her back in response.
"I... Ummm made some confections I made." He said, passing it to Evelyn. And without giving Evelyn a chance to thank him, Arnold rested his hand on Kyoko's waist, guiding him to the dining room.
The food was already set on the table and the three of them sat down. Confused, Kyoko asked: "Only us? What about your father and brother?"
Evelyn gave Arnold a subtle stare. "He doesn't know?" She asked
"He passed away in an accident," Arnold stated void of any emotions in his tone.
"I. I am sorry."
"It's okay, darling. Forget about it and let's have food okay?" Arnold caressed the back of Kyoko's hand, reassuring him. The latter nodded with a forced smile.

"Thank you for having me. I enjoyed today." Kyoko hugged Evelyn one last time, before getting inside Arnold's car, and Evelyn returned the gesture.
"I had fun too. Keep in touch." She said, waving at him as the car drove away.
Soon after dropping Kyoko in front of his apartment, Arnold left. He entered the living room, his eyes frantically searching for something. After looking for a while, he finally found the box Kyoko had brought.
He sighed in relief and smiled as he took the box. His sister who was watching this peculiar behaviour of her brother gave him a weird look.
"Can I have some?" She asked, getting herself a glare.
"He made it. What makes you think I will share?" He carefully opened the box and ate around white coloured sweet.
As he was savouring the flavour, Evelyn decided to ask her something that had been bothering her for a while.
"Do you really like Kyoko?"
