Ayame claps her hands and laughs in amusement at my stomach's solo performance, before standing up. "Come let's have some lunch, you must be famished from all of this traveling, poor girl." She gives Kyo a disapproving look, who raises his hands in surrender, then the two lead us girls out into the hallway and through the maze until we reached the delicious scent of food. I almost groan at the sight of the different kinds of food that set out before us on the long wooden table. I look from the food to Ayame in a questioning manner, she nods sensing the question hanging thick in the air.
Wasting no more time I go for what looks like steamed potato cubes seasoned to perfection, along with some different types of meats topping it off with some fluffy-looking bread I look up to meet surprised gazes from the rest of the people blushing I go to apologize, "She might be the soulmate for the dragon-spirit territory, Dosite, she sure has the appetite like one." Ayame chuckles before filling her own plate with respectful portions. "Dragon-spirit? Like dragons? Or are they like you guys where they can transform into dragons?" I blush at Kyo's knowing smirk as Ayame explains that they were in fact like them. "Are all of the territories Animal spirited?" This time all three of them shake their heads in disagreement. "There are a few characters out there that can't change their form, but still have the necessary ways of communicating." Kyo answers after swallowing his food, I start to decide that maybe it's time for me to start eating as well, after all, it all smells extremely inviting.
"She can stay here in the castle until of course, she finds her soulmate, seeing as I've taken in so many newcomers anyways," Ayame says while looking over at Tyroh, who slightly blushes at the information given. "in fact you can have the room across from Tyroh's." Ayame reminds me of a mother, who had all of the naturing qualities a mother should have. I bow my head respectfully grateful to have a place in this new-found world of mine, I wonder how Alyson was, and if she was with Alexander, I narrow my eyes at the thought of him being in Lovely bites that day, which seems like forever ago itself. "Thank you Ayame, How could I ever repay your kindness back?" She waves her hand dismissively at my question chuckling again over a sip of red wine. "No worries, it's my place as Evocia's leader to offer a safe place to all its travelers." She wipes her mouth clean of invisible food before putting her napkin down and getting up, she excuses herself, something about getting a ball planned and such.
Kyo also leaves stating the Archives needed its friend back, and quickly darts out of the castle's doors after telling us not to get into too much trouble while having fun. Tyroh turns her head to look over at me her face showing a look of mischievousness, Kyo's words obviously having no effect on her what's so ever. "You want to have some fun?" Fun seems like a dangerous word coming from Tyroh, she reminds me of a mischievous angel, with looks of innocence and actions from hell. "What would you consider fun Tyroh?" the mischievousness look vanishes from her eyes and in its place is a devilish look ushering for me to follow her we walk through the castle's grounds until she stops motioning to some guards standing in the distance, she sends me a smirk before sauntering off towards them. I'm hesitant to follow at first but not wanting to be left to get lost I jog slightly to catch up just as she's reaching her two unknowing victims. "Ayame wanted me to tell you guys that you're needed in the stables not here." Tyroh alerts the men who look at each other before looking at Tyroh, "Our squad leader never told us that." A male with golden eyes squints at the both of us girls, staring longer at me. "Well she just changed it, might as well listen to your leader before I go and tell on you."
Before Tyroh stepped foot in the direction of where Ayame stood fifteen or so feet away the two boys run off in a full sprint one mumbling something about being stuck in stables because of a stupid prank the other pulled on Ayame's soulmate. Tyroh looks at me one last time before stepping towards the doorway the two were guarding a minute ago. Motioning for me to follow her she opens the door, behind it lay the enchanted forest, a different more intricate part. "This is where the Dryads and Nymphs habit, dryads are tree spirits who are fused into the trees, while Nymphs are tree fairies, that bodies are a wooden-like texture, and they're bigger than the other fairies you met." She steps inside, looking behind her to see if I'm following her, after I step in she closes the door and smiles at me. "They're also my friends."
We start walking, Tyroh leading me through the tall trees, I'm almost too afraid to look up, in fear of coming face-to-face with a figure just fused to a tree. I start to face my fears when I hear the leaves above our heads start to rustle, almost as if an invisible gust of wind blew past them, I look up and see a Long arm-like branch coming down from a taller tree, and poking Tyroh's shoulder, that's when I feel my own shoulder being poked. "This Dryad's name is Sereph, he's been here a long time, and he likes playing jokes on visitors passing through." I look up even more and see a head attached to a torso popping out of the tree itself, it's a little weird, but sad, knowing that he couldn't move from that spot ever. I wave up to him, glad to be a little light in what I would see as a dark life.
We reach a spring, and around are wooden-like people running around back and forth away from a different person each time, tag seems to happen no matter what world. They stop running when we approach them, "Tyroh!" they yell out simultaneously, throwing their hands up in the air, I notice that almost all of them are child-like. "What game are we playing today kids?" She asks them in response as I sit there and debate if she is a kid herself. "Chase and Catch." A little boy responds excitedly, as the rest of them excitedly talk to Tyroh about how the game has been going so far. "Who's your weird-looking friend?" A girl asks pointing at me with a weird look on her face, I could almost ask the same thing, but considering that she was a child it would definitely be mean. "My name is Selki." I say instead.
