I woke up with a serious hangover. I was so dead to the world I didn't even hear Danni come in last night, let alone getting dressed this morning. She came out the bathroom buttoning her cufflinks "Ha good morning sleeping beauty… you okay baby?" I sat up on the edge of the bed "not at all" I said with a aching voice "my head is booming" I prepared myself to get up. "Well I guess I don't have to ask if y'all had a good time" I giggled "aha … ooo baby don't make me laugh... can you grab me a bc and some orange juice before you head out" Danni pointed over to the nightstand "already got you baby" she kissed my forehead "I'll see you later beautiful I gotta get going, but if you need me just say the word" I nodded and waved my hand "no please go ahead baby I'll be fine" I sucked down the bc powder and orange juice and headed straight for the shower. Danni yelled out she loved me before leaving and I yelled back as I turned on the shower.
After the shower I felt ten times better, so I search through the closet looking for something to wear. I pulled out this beautiful low V cut jumper. I found the perfect pump to compliment the set and checked myself out in the floor mirror one last time before leaving out there door. I stopped to grab the gift bags for the office party later on to celebrate her Essence shoot. I was so proud to suggest her especially after seeing her social media I knew she'd be perfect for it, and she absolutely killed it. I was so proud and happy for her. I pulled into the parking lot and started to gather everything to take inside, when I heard Eva asking for help. When she reached for the bags, I thanked her and as she walked off, I couldn't help but admire her. She looked immaculate in her suit and her cologne had me seeing her differently. She talking bout I smell amazing... well you smell magnificent! Shit, dare I say it she had my mouth watering, but I tried my best to clear my thoughts. Thoughts I haven't had since before Danni... I felt horrible. But what's the harm in looking? I sat down at my desk and started fumbling with the papers on it when she asked if there was anything else to help bring in, I tried my best to look busy but when I attempted to glacé up at her I felt like I was damn near drooling an when we made eye contact again I quickly turned away "No. That was it actually thank you" I paused for a beat as she turned to walk away "Oh Eva.. Nice suit by the way" Anna's soon as the word left my lips my pussy jumped but I calmed myself and nodded and smiled as she said something then left. I quickly went back to focusing on my work to clear my mind. What am I thinking? I have a woman who not only loves me but shows me and makes sure that if it's not known to me that she does then she'll do everything in her power for me to see it feel it know it. "Studio Haven this is Victoria… absolutely I know the perfect photographer as well…. I will send her the concept, get her vision on a shoot and we will get back to you... thank you... talk soon" I hung up and paged Chase to send Eva to my office. "Hey, I have a new project for you, here's the concept... can you give me a visual by the end of day that we can show to the editors" Eva looked at the email on her tablet "Absolutely! I got some ideas cooking already. Thank you, Victoria, really I appreciate each opportunity given" she got up to walk out and Chase rang me "keep her for 2 more minutes! We're almost finished setting up" I hurried to call Eva back in "Hey Eva… Do you have any recent side projects I can take a look at" Eva turned around smiling "I have several actually… I have all kinds of side projects" Eva sat on the couch and patted the cushion next to her "please join me" my heart started racing and I started to feel faint, but my body just started towards the couch my eyes caught a glimpse of Chase waving me over. Thank Gawd! I thought to myself.
"Oh, Eva it looks like Chase is trying to get our attention" Chase pointed at both of us and gestured for us to come. I ushered Eva out and blissfully followed behind her; studying her frame but then I caught myself and shook my head "get your shit together" I walked into the applause clapping as well for her "Congratulations Eva, your first shoot was a major success… to which I hope you'll graciously enjoy on your check" we all laughed. Eva thanked me and opened her arms for a hug, we embraced, and both let out a "mmm" but caught ourselves and broke apart. Eva chuckled and leaned into whisper "my fault you just smell so good... an also thank you" she winked at me. "Bitch seriously" I thought. I definitely need to get my shit together and quick.
