She frowned, "But your my mother and I want you to know them too. And they seemed to want to know about the woman who raised me"
"Ohh but honey this is your moment to know them more not me. I will go when it's time but not right now" she said.
Alex turned to Nathan who was sitting beside his father, "Did you two tell her something to stop her from going?".

Her mother held her down as Nathan got up and left.

"Have you seen him yet since the argument?" Cynthia asked Alex.
"No, I went home to pack my things and he wasn't there "she sighed.
She had finally agreed to meet with her sister again and told her about meeting with her family and Nathan getting angry at her for her decision.

"Really? But you both love each other so much especially him. Won't this affect your relationship "
Alex took a sip of her coffee," I just can't explain it to him now when he's still in that mood. He forgot I had one goal in life, giving Mother a better life... and now that I have that chance I can't hesitate to take it " she said.

Alex chuckled," I know but no matter what they are my family. And the truth is am tired. "But will they accept her? "Cynthia asked.
