The bliss from our night together was the only thing that kept me going the next few days as everything I feared would happen came to fruition.
Having visions of the future was pretty cool, but I didn't like being right about this.
The day after Jim escaped from Leonel, word began to spread through the packs that the Alpha's fated mate was a witch. He told the world my secret, and much as I predicted, it didn't go over well. Leonel held a dinner with his own pack to introduce me, specifically as his Luna, and explained the situation.
Luckily for me, most of Leonel's pack had seen me train and fight over the last couple weeks or saw me battle the rogues, so they were readily on my side. Witches made them uneasy, but Anna of all people stood up and claimed that I was more wolf than half of the other recruits she had ever seen.
