As Marla and I made our way into the seemingly abandoned office tower, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The place was eerily quiet, and it felt like we were the only ones there. The office park itself was generic and unremarkable, with a cheap fountain out front and usually bustling with salary men, but today it was completely empty.
The sky outside the office park was a deep shade of orange, the kind of color you see only in the late afternoon, just before sunset.
