Jacob stepped forward and yanked on Cassie's hair. He demanded menacingly, "Where is Stefanie?"
Cassie returned his glare and raged, "Don't you dare hit me, Jacob! Or Mr. Wilhelm will come for your head!"
Slap! Slap!
Jacob struck her mercilessly, knocking out an alarming number of her teeth and causing her face to swell painfully.
"I'll only ask you one more time. Where is Stefanie?"
Cassie appeared far meeker as she stammered, "I-I don't know. How would I know where she is?"
Her answer brought a frown to Jacob's face. I didn't think she'd be so stubborn!
He loosened his hold on her and ordered, "Tony, you know what to do!"
Tony nodded, beating Cassie up to frighten her into revealing Stefanie's location.
It paid off as Cassie piped up weakly, "Okay, I'm telling! I'm telling."
