After running for a while, he reached where he felt the presence of people. Seeing the group of women and the elf girl, he sighed in relief.
Seeing Adam walking towards her, the elf girl suddenly bowed a 90 degree straight. Adam quickly said, "Please raise your head Miss Elf..."
She raised her head and looked at him. Now that she saw him closer, she could say with certainty that he was the most handsome man she ever saw. However, the expression outside is not always the truth. So she decided to wait.
"I thank you again, Stranger. If I meet you in the future, I will definitely repay you. And I'd like to leave these ladies with you..."
Saying this she hurriedly left. Adam expecting this, nodded to the empty air. He then took the group of women to the Malevier house.

After reaching the house, he was met with a lot of questions and complaints. He heard an earful from his grandfather. Asil was very angry. However he complimented his courage and actions. He was asked about the elf girl by Xesteria and Amy as well.

While Adam was hearing his earful from Asil, the elf girl who returned to her home was scolded by her family as well.
"Ellie..! What were you thinking...!? We were about to wage war on them if you never returned..!"
Hearing this, Elbereth was flustered. She hurriedly said, "You are wrong, father! It wasn't them! It was a group called themselves dragon bandits. I've heard when they were talking amongst themselves that they were ordered by one of the nobles of the Aragon Empire to attack Grania's border and act like bandits.."
Hearing this, her father, the king of elves could only sigh. The Aragon Empire was a country with an immensely powerful military power. Even if they want to wage war, it will be impossible. Unless of course if the spirits help. However being a nature friendly race of the world, they wouldn't help them. But her words weren't finished as she said,
"I was captured and chained up. One of them was an Arch Knight Level Swordsman. I wasn't caught by him. I was captured because of some kind of drug."
"Then how did you escape...?"
Hearing this, Elbereth smiled a little which confused her father a little before she said, "I don't know who he is. But I was saved by that person."
"Who is 'that person' you are talking about...?"
"I actually forgot to ask his name. However, I know that he is human. And he not only protected me, he also saved some other women who were captured as well."
This time his face changed. Hearing she mentioning a human, his anger was shown on his face.
"You shouldn't trust a human Ellie... He must be a creepy old man trying to get his hands on you..."
She giggled hearing him. Then she remembered her savior's face and laughed out loud which caused her father to confuse again.
"It's nothing father. You are mistaken. The one who saved me wasn't an old man. It was a young boy who was probably around the age of 15-16."
This time, her father was shocked. If what she said is true, then that means a genius was born into this world. And he must be from Malevier house as well.
"Do you know a way to communicate with him...?"
She nodded and said, "He was here due to my friend's words. She is the young lady of Malevier house. He was requested to save me by her. So if we go there, we may be able to see him."
He thought for a while and nodded. However as he was about to say something he remembered that her friend was from the Malevier house. He glared at her. Elbereth stuck out her tongue before running off. He could only sigh in his heart. He then ordered,
"Prepare for the departure! We will be meeting with The Malevier house tomorrow. Send a message beforehand! Prepare gifts as well!"

The next morning, Adam was sitting on the couch of the guest room of Malevier house. He was thinking it would be a peaceful day, however he was feeling strangely nervous when an uncle with golden hair and Golden eyes came asking for him. From the first moment he saw him, he knew, this person was definitely related to that elf girl. It was not just a guess, as this person had long and pointed ears as well.
Asil who is sitting next to the strange uncle could only smile wryly.
"So you are Adam huh..."
Adam nodded before he glanced at the smiling Elf girl sitting next to him. Seeing him glancing at her, she smiled widely. He wasn't sure anymore if this was a peaceful day Or the worst day...
"I am Adam Aves Aldians, Your Majesty The King of Elves..."
He introduced himself by raising from the couch and bowed slightly. Even Asil was dumbfounded by why a human hating race such as elves would request to meet with them. He looked at Adam and saw that he was already tired. However he didn't help him. It was his own responsibility after doing something like saving the princess of the Elven Kingdom.
"Hmm... Like Ellie said, the air around you seems very calm and gentle. Well.... Anyway I am here to thank you for saving my daughter. I'd like to give you something. So what do you want...?"
He asked in a gentle tone compared to his previous gaze and inquiries. Hearing this Adam said, "I didn't do it for anything your Majesty. I did it for my cousin Xesteria."
Hearing this, the elf king was surprised. He thought humans were always greedy and thoughtless. However seeing that someone is doing this for free and he wasn't lying as well, he couldn't but compliment Adam in his mind.
"Although I would like to accept you rejecting my offer, as a king and a father, I can't just let you go freely now can I...?"
As the king of elves was forcing him to accept this, Adam was sure that he would not stop until he accepted this offer. However as he was about to accept it, Elbereth butted in saying, "Father, How about you give him 'me' as a present...?"
The whole room was silent. Suddenly Her father's lips twitched and he said, "Never! I will not allow a shitty human to touch you!"
This time others were silent once again. Then she said, "Father! You said I have the right to choose my own Groom. Do you think I will choose someone like you say..?" She was glaring at her father.
He was shrinking small. He was defeated in front of his daughter. She then looked at Adam and smiled.
"You don't have to be so confused, Lord Adam. In fact, I never thought I would choose you like this as well. However after seeing through your character, I decided that you are the perfect person for me."
However instead of an answer she expected, Adam said,
"I refuse..."
This time everyone fell silent. However her father suddenly asked in an angry voice,
"Are you saying you don't like my little angel..!? How dare you reject her..!?"
Adam replied immediately, "No your majesty. I think princess Elbereth is a beautiful lady. In fact, I think I will be fortunate to have her. However, I am already engaged. So i can't accept it without consulting my future family."
"Your fiancee..?"
Hearing her words Adam nodded before pointing towards Amy and Xesteria. After a few weeks passed, Xesteria replied to him by saying okay after talking with Amanda. Since he couldn't bring himself to reject her, he decided to accept her.
Elbereth's eyes widened. She then asked with her eyes to which Xesteria nodded with a meek smile.
"So what should I do to make you love me..?"
Elbereth seems to be threatened that someone rejected her. Then he said, "I don't know if it's okay for me to marry you. Also if you want me to love you, you have to make me fall for you."
In fact, She was already beautiful enough that Adam would accept her if he wasn't engaged. Everyone was hearing their conversation. At last the king sighed and said, "Ellie being able to marry anyone is because of her grandmother. So it is not a problem. In fact i do recognize you. My daughter's happiness is my happiness. So when you are ready just tell me."
Saying this, he raised himself and walked towards the door. However seeing that Elbereth is staying, Adam asked, "Aren't you going Princess..?"
The one who replied to him wasn't her but the king, "She will stay here until I say. Of course you will protect her won't you...?" He asked with a smile. Adam could only nod. He then saw the king nodding to his grandpa. So he understood that everything was planned from the start and this is what they already wished for. He sighed and walked towards the door. However he stopped when he sensed someone following him. Turning backwards he saw Elbereth standing behind him.
"What's wrong, Princess..?"
"Please call me Ellie Lord Adam. You as well lady Amanda."
Amanda looked at Adam once more. He could see that she was telling him to make sure that she is still the first one. He could only sigh.
"Yes Ellie. I will be in your care."
She smiled lightly. He could see that even though she was showing emotions, her face wasn't. So he wondered if there was something wrong. However he will find it later....
