-Hoshino Twin PoV-
"W-what was that?" Ruby whispered toward her older twin brother a bit nervously as she suddenly felt goosebumps all over her body as her 'aunt' did something, she might not have seen it but she definitely felt whatever that is.
Aqua also felt the same as his twin sister, he too had chills all over his body as his aunt did something that he didn't know.
"I don't know…but she definitely did something…" Aqua whispered back to his younger twin sister, although he's nervous like his sister, he was also curious and wanted to know what that phenomenon is.
"Huh…this is unexpected…to think Lorelei wanted her to know about 'that' part of the world." Their 'uncle' Shirou whispered under his breath, he probably didn't mean for them to hear but they did anyway.
Both Ruby and Aqua were looking at each other with either confusion or surprised expression.
"I think he knows what happened…" Ruby whispered mysteriously as if she found a major clue about what happened.
"Duh, isn't that obvious?" Aqua rolled his eyes at his sister's words.
After that they decided to get closer, since they're toddlers no one would suspect a thing if they get a bit closer to their mother and aunt's conversation.
Shirou didn't notice something wrong either as he thought that the twins wanted to be with their mother and just let them be, it's not like they would understand what their mother and Lorelei were talking about…. right?
Both Ruby and Aqua were listening to the conversation of their mother and aunt. What they heard definitely shocked them, from all the things they expected magic is the last thing they thought about!
Apparently, magic is real and it was just hidden from society, upon hearing that a world like that exists Ruby's eyes shined in excitement.
However, Aqua was different as soon as he learned that the supernatural side existed, his adult brain thought. 'Could it be that a person or an organization from the side of the world has to do with our reincarnation?'
Thinking about it doesn't seem too far-fetched, after magic dues wonders, if what the movies said is true of course.
Then the twins continued to listen and get to know that 'magic' isn't called magic these days, as they are called 'magecraft', as they are replicable by modern technology, however, magic is something that isn't replicable by modern technology, something that defile the law of equivalent exchange, a completely broken ability, in other words a cheat, a very powerful one in real life.
Thus the explanation about the moonlit world continued, and once again the twins were shocked to find out that myths and legends are real, or at least most of them!
Meaning, Gods, Demi-Gods, Dragons, Phoenix, Ghost, Vampires, and other supernatural beings are real!
Honestly, it blew their tiny minds to think everything they knew about the world was actually a lie!
Of course, unlike their mother who is completely skeptical about their aunt's claims, they however believed Lorelei completely as they already had a personal experience of the supernatural side of the world, their reincarnation is proof of that.
Their belief only cemented as Lorelei cast reinforcement at the teacup, their aunt threw it hard into the floor, instead of breaking as it would normally do to a tea cup after hitting a solid object, it was the floor that broke instead of the teacup!
It was perfectly buried beneath the wooden floor, and there wasn't a slight damage to the teacup.
As they say, seeing is believing, and in their cause, they don't need to believe something they already believed in.
Then their aunt, did another magecraft this time, she cut the table near with her 'wind', although they didn't see it, however, the cleanly cut table was enough for the proof.
Because of that, their mother Ai, was totally sold on the idea that magic and the rest of the supernatural side of the world existed.

"Do you think we can do magecraft?!" Ruby excitedly asked her elder twin brother.
Aqua shrugged with his tiny shoulder and answered. "I guess?"
Despite how casual he might look outside, however inside he was also as excited as his twin sister, why wouldn't help be excited?!
A chance of becoming like a wizard like Harry Potter! It would no longer be just a dream to cast magic, or well magecraft.
"I can't wait to try to become a magical girl!" Ruby excitedly said.
Aqua suddenly paused and said. "M-magical girl…?"
"Yeah! You know, like sailor moon! To fight evil and become the ally of justice!" Ruby pointed her tiny little forefinger above the air.
Shirou suddenly shifted his attention toward the twins and muttered. "Did someone say Ally of Justice?"
Hearing that from their 'uncle' made the two of them shut up and tried to act like normal toddlers which they successfully did.
"It's probably just my imagination." Shirou attention shifted back to where it originally came from.
After confirming that Shirou's attention was no longer toward them, only then did the two reincarnated toddlers let out a sigh of relief.
"W-what just happened?" Ruby asked nervously as she shifted her gaze toward their uncle's back.
"I think it's when you mentioned the words 'ally of justice'." As soon as Aqua mentioned that Shirou once again stared at their location with confusion.
Only to turn away again, Ruby couldn't stop herself from saying. "Are those specific words a code for something..?"
"No, I don't think so…" Aqua replied hesitantly.
"We should stop mentioning those specific words for now.." Ruby whispered.
"Yeah, it's probably for our own good…" Aqua couldn't help but agree.
—
"Do you think we have magic circuits like our aunt mentioned?" Ruby curiously asked her twin.
"Probably…? I mean we are our father's offspring, if he's a magus as our aunt said, then most likely we have them too if it could be passed genetically." Aqua guessed.
"Oh right, our father." Ruby looked like someone who sucked an entire lemon.
Aqua stared at her with a strange look. "Ruby, care to explain why you dislike our biological father? I mean, he didn't do anything bad, so far he's a decent person who is willing to take responsibility and not run away from it, after knowing that he had us."
Ruby averted her eyes away from his and answered. "Because he defiled Mama's 'purity' and 'innocence'."
"Ehhhh…." Aqua stared at her with a strange mix of disappointment and understanding.
As a fan of Ai, obviously, you'd dislike the person that defiled the purity of your favorite idol, he wasn't an exception, however, he was logical and mature about it, as it is how reality works, and what Ruby did is childish no matter how much excuse she says.
It's simply unreasonable, for him he was just grateful that their biological father is rich and a responsible person that doesn't shy away from child support, making his mother, their mother's burden lessened.
Being a single mother of two children isn't easy, especially when Ai herself is a minor, and has no idea how to raise a child of her own.
With the money earned a month, it's barely enough for them, only thanks to the president they managed to last.
That's why he was thankful for their father's support, with him supporting their family, at the very least Ai won't have to work herself to the bone just to support them.
Now, if only Ruby understands that, she doesn't know how lucky we are, hopefully someday she'll understand that.

"You're going to open their magic circuits?" Shirou frowned, and it was easy to see that he wasn't pleased with that.
Lorelei, however, let out a sigh. "No, I'm not going to open their magic circuits yet, I'm just going to check whether they have one or not."
With that, the tension in Shirou's body disappeared and replied. "Oh, I thought you were going to.."
Lorelei glared at her fiance, who only smiled awkwardly at her harsh glare. "I'm not, do you think I'm a fool? Even the youngest magus to awaken their magic circuits is 3 years old, to do that to a toddler who isn't even 2 years old isn't something I would do, nor any magus with a decent brain, it's very dangerous for a toddler to have their dormant magic circuits to awaken as they might do something that would cause their own death before they could even reach their full potential, that's why in most magus family they only would awaken their heir magic circuits at 4 years old because the child's brain is already developed enough to make a sensible decision."
"Right, I'm sorry for assuming you will forgive me?" Shirou was quick to apologize for his mistake and sheepishly smiled in her direction as he scratched the back of his head.
"You…" Lorelei wanted to say more, however, her anger melted as she saw his sorry face, she snorted and didn't look at him anymore. It might not look much, but it's a very impressive feat for anyone to calm Lorelei.
And to think Shirou did it effortlessly with a smile, if any magus were to hear of this, they would immediately think of it as a baseless rumor, and if they were to see it personally they would be shocked.
Lorelei's reputation is something to be feared, she is ruthless (to her enemies) she is merciless (to dead apostles and traitors) and most importantly she doesn't forgive (only those who she deemed hopeless).
That's why it is very surprising to the magus kind for her to act like a 'human' when she is barely categorized as one, she is more of a monster hiding beneath the human skin, no matter how human she may appear.
Without waiting for anyone, Lorelei checked the twins for dormant magic circuits and she wasn't going to sugarcoat it, they were a lot of them, maybe slightly more than her brother's, not to mention they are also of a higher quality.
However, the most surprising thing is that.
"Ridiculous, they also have a mystic eye." Lorelei couldn't help but think how strange this family is, to think all 3 would have different mystic eyes, however, she also couldn't help but smile slightly and thought. 'Perhaps, it's not a bad thing that Alex birthed an heir, because, with the right guidance, they would be the strongest in their generation.'
Suddenly a strange glint appeared in Lorelei's eyes and thought. 'Yes, this time I'll properly guide them to be the best magus of their generation, where I failed to do that with my brother, this time I wouldn't let it happen, never my pride as a Barthomeloi is at sake that's why I'm going to give my all so that they'll become worthy of the name Barthomeloi.'
For some reason, the twins suddenly felt a shiver in their spine for some reason.
