Chapter 59 - Magician

Throw Thy Stone!

---

The total credits that I got from Olga, Chloe, and the princess knights are about 1,000, which is a lot more than I expected but I certainly wasn't complaining.

Celestine also took my offer, which wasn't something I expected from her, but isn't unwelcome, although I've erased their traumatic experience, however, the memories of me saving them and their kingdom remain, making me the hero of their newly reformed empire.

I wasn't really expecting to become a hero, in the first place I was there so that I could get more profits and also seeing Vault and the rest of the Black Dogs suffer is a selfish desire of mine, so becoming a Hero definitely wasn't part of the bucket list.

In my opinion what I did definitely wasn't heroic, but from the perspective of the people of Ken I was their hero, so in the end, I allowed it, since it makes my reputation sound better and having a personal statue in the middle of Ken's plaza sounds good.

It was made immediately. I swore it only took about a few hours to make, honestly, my status looks absolutely nothing like me, what's with the muscles and all?

Are they trying to make me a gigachad or something?

My job here is done, it's time for me to go back to my own reality, thus my experience being in another world ended.

However, before I could leave suddenly Celestine interrupted my departure and asked. "Alex!"

I looked at Celestine who was acting like a shy teenager who was trying to talk to her crush.

I wasn't an idiot, I know what she felt if that blush indicated something, it was quite obvious that she's crushing on me, however how exactly did it happen?

So far I haven't really done anything nice, aside from the fact that I saved her kingdom, her people, and possibly the entire world from the hands of Black Dogs...

Okay, that proves the point as to why she is crushing on me, however, we didn't really interact that much!

Is she really that easy? Looking at Celestine's beautiful form, I don't think she is, because if she was she wouldn't have remained a virgin for several hundred years.

"Yes?" I replied, acting as if I wasn't aware of what she's about to say.

"Can…I see you again?" Celestine asked with a hopeful voice.

I smiled at her, making her blush a bit, and answered. "Of course, you just have to use that card."

I pointed at the card that was given by the shop, it was bronze the lowest rank, the reason it's like that is because she didn't buy anything from the catalog therefore making her card only bronze rank.

Celestine held the card like it was some sort of priceless treasure in her wonderful chest and said. "T-then see you later?"

I nodded and flashed her another smile. "See you later then Celestine."

After that goodbye, I went back to the shop.

It was definitely a 'fun' experience to be in another world, while it may be a little bloody adventure the fact that it's fun doesn't change, to think killing trash without consequences is entertaining.

And it's something that I could never do back in my world without consequences, either way, I shouldn't make this kind of habit in the future because it's just bad, I wasn't like D who probably killed a trillion, or maybe more.

Anyway, it's time to convert the divinity that I received from Celestine.

When I converted it, I wasn't surprised that it values over 10k, because no matter how small the divinity may be, divine is divine after all.

Just like that, I obtained 22k credits total, including what I received from Olga, Chloe, the princess knights, and Celestine for repairing their bodies, physically and mentally.

Even now I still feel dirty for doing that, however, I didn't regret it in the slightest because in exchange I got more credits.

It would certainly be ideal to buy something, however, I have a feeling that what is useful to me right now is more expensive than my current amount of credits.

So I decided to save it for now and go back to my own reality.

As soon as I came back, I went downstairs only to find out that my sister and Ai were talking.

I blinked and thought. 'Did something happen?'

Either way, there's no way I'll be able to find out without asking, so I approached them and asked. "Hey did I miss anything while I was upstairs?"

Lorelei, my dearest sister pointed her nose above, and replied. "Yes, you did."

I'm pretty surprised she admitted that I missed something, now it made me curious and asked once more. "What did I miss then?"

Lorelei answered bluntly. "I told her about the moonlit world."

Okay…. that was unexpected, while I did plan to tell Ai eventually about the moonlit world, I didn't think she'd know as soon as she lived here.

"I…see…so anything that I should know about?" I feel like there's more, considering that look Ai was giving me.

"She has magic circuits."

That's great-

"It amounts to 40 and they're also high quality, not to mention she has a dormant mystic eye, I have a feeling that it's at least jewel-ranked." Lorelei was dropping bombs without the slightest hint of hesitation.

If I were a normal magus, the jaws of my mouth would have dropped a long time ago, but fortunately, I wasn't. That's why I'm also a bit surprised. "Really? That's amazing."

In the moonlit world, something like this doesn't happen often, probably once in a couple of hundred years.

40 high-quality magic circuits and a pair of mystic eyes, and isn't part of a magus family is something unheard of.

"It is, something like this doesn't happen often, you're lucky that the woman that sired your children is a rare commodity. It could have been worse but fortune favors our family it seems." Lorelei almost smiled as she mentioned that, well 'almost'.

I wasn't sure what she meant, as I'm not as well versed in politics as she does, but if someone were to disagree with me, I could always show them true power.

If any magus would try to harm my children, I hope I won't find them because I'm definitely giving them a 'wonderful' time of their life.

I may have just met the twins, however, the fact that they're my children made them my top priority, as they are something I created, accident or not, they are my own.

And there's no way I'd let someone harm them, that also includes the mother of my children.

"I also checked your children's and both of them have magic circuits that surpass yours in amount and quality, they have great potential." This time for sure, I saw a slight smile on my sister's face.

Surpasses mine in amount and quality? That's something worth mentioning alright, not many magus have a magic circuit that amounts to a hundred, not to mention a high-quality one.

There's only a handful in history that has the same amount of magic circuits and quality, however, it didn't stop there as Lorelei continued.

"Both of them also have a dormant mystic eye." Lorelei's lips were slightly curved as she said. "They're going to be great Barthomeloi, without a doubt and they will need proper guidance for that to happen, that's why I'm going to be in charge of their magecraft training, and this time I'll groom them into a proper magus, which unfortunately where I failed with you and now that I've learned from my mistake I would be more stricter with my teaching."

Hearing that statement from my sister, my face slowly turned pale, and replied. "Lorelei isn't that-"

My sentence was interrupted as Lorelei glared in my direction. "What? Are you going to lecture me that I have flaws in my teaching?"

Yes, absolutely, as Lorelei's teaching isn't actually 'teaching' at all, it is more like a torture disguised.

"Well- no, it's nothing." I decided to shut up as Lorelei's glare deepened, magician or no, psychological attacks are very powerful.

The fear I had toward her as a kid was coming back to me, then I stared at my twins and looked at them with no small amount of pity.

I shed a single tear of manliness and thought. 'I'm sorry my children's papa failed to protect you from the 'beast' I call my sister! I'll doom your fate!'

My children couldn't help but look at me weirdly as they saw my expression, but I didn't care as they'll soon understand why I pity them.

I averted my gaze away from them because I might 'cry' from pity alone.

Anyway, I couldn't let my children sacrifice in vain. That's why I'm going to spoil them before their 'training' begins.

It was at least I could do to lessen the burden inside their mind, as they would think of happy times and survive the 'teaching' of my dearest sister Lorelei.

And since she started revealing shocking news, it's only fair that I do the same, not to mention this is a perfect time to reveal it.

"Everyone, I have a confession to make." My words weren't loud, but everyone heard it and now they are paying attention to me, including my twins. Honestly, I have to check if they're reincarnators soon because I have a feeling that they are, no baby acts like them.

"A few days ago I obtained the First True Magic, and now I'm a magician."

A/N: Finally Alex revealed it!
