Izik frowned at what he read. He's still half confused and half in disbelief. He reached for the continue button, clicking it since he still need to regain all the strength he used in running and he at least need to understand the system this artifact was talking about.
It then started to point certain things on the window and encouraging him to click on them. He saw the tutorial highlighted the word profile.
He read the tutorial window.

Status and skills... Izik sighed. He did hope for a lot of those when he was younger but he knew not to have high hopes and to let go of dreams he knew he will never obtain.
He still couldn't believe that it told him he has man but the more he think of it the more it made sense. If he doesn't have mana then how in the world was he even able to use this artifact?
For artifacts no matter how strong they were if the user has no mana path, it's useless. It's no different from any ordinary item.

"Guide?!" He had so many question but seeing his designation as a Guide made him completely flabbergasted.
He's not a Guide!
He doesn't want to be a Guide!
Izik would rather remain a Laic for the rest of his life than dedicate it to guiding Hunters. He doesn't hate Hunters perse but he doesn't also like them. They were admirable and getting in dungeons and risking your life to close it and fight monsters were on a different level of cool, sure, but Izik doesn't want anything to do with them.
He let out a groan, staring at the window again. "It's Class S..." What the fuck? Was this even real? He tried to recall anyone in Bizevau that was a Class S Guide but he can't remember a single person.
As far as he knew, Class S Guides were not many in numbers that's why they were coveted by the richest families. They were summoned to serve either a dukedom or the Imperial Palace itself.
That's how rare they were that they were always in exclusive contracts. Thinking of it, it made sense as Class S Guides can guide anyone at any level. Their guiding also would feel infinitely better than other Guides.
Not only that, the lower the level of a Guide the more intimate their guiding should be.
If a Class D Guide will work with a Class B Hunter the guiding won't be just any hand holding rather for it to be more effective it will need to be... more intimate.
It's one of the many things that turned guiding off for Izik. He can't imagine being that close or that intimate with someone for the sake of /guiding/ them.
"I don't care if it's Class S," He frowned. "I don't want to be a Guide!"
Deciding to ignore the whole thing he clicked on the continue button.

Izik pressed the continue button and silently read the window.
"Just as I thought, Offensive Skills are the one that causes damage while the Others are all skills that needed to be activated but doesn't cause any damage," Before pressing the continue button, Izik stared at the Active Skills he has.

The frown he made when he save he doesn't have a single offensive skill almost crumpled his face. At least his Dodge was at level 4. If he trained more, he could increase that. He was still largely in denial about his designation but seeing that /Basic Guiding/ listed as a skill felt like a wake up call.
Izik pressed the continue button.

• Danger Sense [ Level 1 / 20 ]
• Basic Combat Skills [ Level 5 / 20 ]
• Dagger Mastery [ Level 10 / 20

.
He had his doubts on this system but seeing how it pointed out how he can use daggers as weapon despite it only being at level 10 was enough to make him believe the whole thing.
Because it was true the only weapon he tried to master was dagger. Give him a dagger and he could knock down a group easily.
His speed level made him a bit bitter. If that was at 20 he wouldn't have much problem running. However having it on 5 wasn't totally bad.
The level of his /Danger Sense/ told him all he needed to know about the whole decision process he had been making for the last hours.
The tutorial then encourage him to click one skill. Not really fully grasping what /Primal Instinct/ was, Izik clicked on it.

"Sounds like a useful skill," He muttered. He pushed himself up and started to stretch a bit. Now that he caught his breath, he needed to continue. He can't stay there for long. Izik knew he needed to find the exit and get back to the kids.
As he walked, he continued the tutorial.

"Holy shit," He cussed staring at the map before him. The fact that he's just few meters away from the exit sent shivers down his spine. If he wanted to, he could just run to it and leave the dungeon.
Izik weighed his options. Would it be better if he rushed to the exit and get Hunters or should he get the children first so they can leave together.
His trail of thoughts were interrupted by the roaring of a lion.
Izik was quick to hid himself in the bushes. His eyes then darted towards the middle of the map where the lion statues were located. Using that as the focal point, to pinpoint the location where he left the kids. Once he got the location, he set off to them.
Leaving them with three gigantic marble lions roaming around was not a risk Izik was willing to take.
He was sure they have been waiting for him.
The tutorial continued explaining that the Bag was basically a storage for all the item he has and since he doesn't have any, it was empty. Izik did hope he could find something useful there but he was also not really expecting anything.
Pressing the continue button, the tutorial began talking about the shop.

"Good thing my Dagger Mastery is at level 10." Izik was still a bit skeptical about what he was seeing despite that he still pressed the equip button.
Izik was surprised when the light glowed in his hand as the dual-chained dagger materialized on his hand. A thick golden cuff was suddenly on his wrists. They fit perfectly against his wrists with a chain connected to them and at the end of the chain were shiny golden daggers.
He was unsure why it was called a dagger when it literally looked more like a polished arrowhead than a dagger.
But he will not complain, he has a weapon and that's all he needed.
Izik exited his bag and was met by another popup window.

He also read Teleport which according to its description gave him an ability for short-distance teleportation at least half a mile radius from where he initially was.
"Now that is useful!" Izik smiled, slowly liking the system.
Loud roars shook the place and Izik increased his speed. He has no time to leisurely read about the system.
When he heard children screaming, Izik felt his heart stop.
