"she sacrificed herself, burnt her frame to save the entire world"
he sighed and Myra was listening to him uninterruptedly,
"why did she do that? I mean, I saw her she said she is just a spirit" Myra questioned curiously, hugging her legs to her chest tightly, listening increasingly,
He stared at the flames and started his story,
"It was nearly five hundred years ago, I was at my primes, and there was chaos in the forest, to become a king everyone was ready to kill anyone, even the members of their packs...
The yellow pack was the most powerful pack at that time and I was their Alpha, no one dares to stand before me, but Webber, he was my rival, the only one that can compete with me, we had a fight and everything in this world was in danger because of our rage," he grunted showing his regret,
"And then?" she asked,
he looked at her and continued,
"Then, Alison came into our lives, she was chosen by the moon Goddess to stop that chaos," her eyes sparkle as she heard that,
"We fell in love with her, but we wanted the red stone, both of us, but..."
"But...but what..!!" Myra asked,
"She loved him, she chose him over me but I know that he was not into her, he only intended to have the red stone" he hit the fire with his stick in anger,
"then...??" Myra asked,
"he got the red stone, and he killed everyone from my pack, I was no one compared to him, I hid myself to cultivate, but when I came back, Webber was dead, she burnt herself along with him to stop his
ruthlessness,"
"but...!!" she was confused,
he fell on his knees with grief,
"That was the only way to kill the owner of red stone, I tried everything to save her even though losing all my power but I could only save her spirit"
Myra went into deep thought,
"so this was the reason, she was just a spirit"
"then, why can't she live with you here," she asked him because he looked devastated just by talking about her.
"That was the curse of the moon goddess for destroying the red stone," he said,
Myra quivered,
"so, is this my destiny?" she said louder,
"but why me?"
"you couldn't change your fate, kid, but you can make it better if you want" he consoled,
" but how?"
"by taming them, you can never win over them, but you can tame them,"
Myra was surprised to hear that,
"just by seeing them, I have been shivering all this time and you are telling me to tame them, how...?are you kidding me"
"It is possible, I'll help you," said Albert assuring Myra,
She was in a confusion whether can it be possible...
It was shocking for her to know that those treacherous beasts, those monsters can be tamed,
Albert was confident though, it was hard to believe,
She shook her head to bring herself back to the fact that she can't do that,
Her grandma was looking at her, as she seems to be disturbed,
"Come here my child", she called Myra affectionately with her hands wide open,
looking at her, Myra lunged to her to hug her,
" I know what you are thinking, it's up to you my child, I'll never force you, I lost everything all my children, I can't afford to lose you" her grandmother started sobbing again,
Myra was lost in her thoughts,
can I tame them?
That beast, just thinking about them gave me thrills,
her grandmother continued,
"If you want, Albert can take us out of this vicious place, we can live in some other corner of the earth" Myra looked at her in surprise, wondering if it is possible,
"No wonder where you are, they will find you, goddess " declared Albert in his terrific bold voice,
Myra's heart was filled with floods of grief, she hung her head down as tears accumulated in her eyes,
"This is my fate grandma, and no one can change it except me"
She looked up at Albert, her gaze meet up to his and she declared hitting the bed with her timid hands,
" teach me how, I wanted to face my destiny, I will tame them,"
Though her body was timid, she forced herself to be strong,
A curl tugged on one side of his lips as he saw her confidence just like Allison,
"That's the spirit, kid, come with me"
he said,
her grandmother held her hand as she got down to follow him,
"Don't worry grandma, wait for me"
She followed him to the middle of the forest, the sight itself gave her threat, she felt a creepy sensation all through her body, there was a cave in front of them, he went in, it reeked of a very strong smell of blood, they went in,
She covered her nose as they go deeper, for a second her inner soul shivered as she saw some of the broken bones of humans,
She jerked as they went further in, some of the body parts of animals were spread all over and she felt sick looking at them as if she was about to puke,
but she controlled it by closing her nose, so as not to smell that odour coming from them.
They went further in, there was a small opening in between the rocks, and a beam of light was falling out from there,
he kept his hand on it and it opened as a gate,
Myra was astonished to see it,
"What is that?" she exclaimed a passage was formed for them to pass through,
He looked at her, tilting his head from above his shoulder, signifying her to keep calm,
She kept calm and followed him in,
It was an entrance to a huge cave, a secret cave,
It was beautiful, with greenery and flowers a stream of water flowing through the cave, made it more astonishing,
After looking around surprisingly, she had only one word for the place,
"Wow...!!"
He went to one of the rocks and stood up on it,
" This was the place where I lived for decades to cultivate when I lost my pack,"
he said looking at her and spreading his arms as if he was feeling every particle in the air present around him,
" Come here goddess," he pointed toward one of the rocks,
She came near and climbed on it,
"Lift your right-hand goddess," commanded Albert in a bold voice,
She obediently followed him and lifted her hand,
"Close your eyes and feel yourself when you first touched the red stone,"
She remembered that she was in her room when she first touched the red stone,
"Now touch the red stone with your left-hand goddess"
he demanded,
Closing her eyes she touched the necklace she was wearing and the locket which looked like nothing but a stone without any glow,
The moment she touched it, a vibrant red light flew all around her,
"You have to blend your mind with the red stone, goddess, bring it to your command"
She wondered,
can I?
His bold voice jolted her at once as he commanded...
