A team of almost 200 people marched through the forest, everyone was wearing a walker mask, if it wasn't for the weapons on their bodies, they could easily be a horde of walkers in this forest.
Carol at the front of the team said in amazement, "You all have masks like the ones used at the base?"
Glenn turned his head a little oddly, not quite understanding what she meant, "Don't you guys have your own mask?"
As they had understood it, long before Airon's group left the base they had had rules going forward that everyone should wear their walker mask, at least the members with class two authority who risk their lives for the future of the base.
However, Carol had heard rumors that these masks could not fully protect them from red-eyed walkers. But very few people outside of specialized groups agree with wearing a mask with corpse skin.
"Not everyone wears them, let alone to go out, there are some special walkers who don't care if they have a mask, one little mistake and you'll end up being walker food."
"But even so, this mask is like protective armor when used right..."
Everyone couldn't help but remember the scene at the Saviors' base, the sense of security of walking among the undead made them feel like they could live forever.
But Airon didn't think that way, there was no safety in walking among walkers and that was something that wasn't good to get used to.
On the way to the terminus, it only took a little over ten minutes to walk that distance, and once again it was getting dark. The struggle all night last night and all day today made everyone in general feel exhausted, but after all, this matter had to be resolved and everyone had to buck up.
They were already very close to the terminus, and Airon knew very well that these people had some kind of traps. He didn't find any kind of secret traps in the forest along the way, but he noticed signs of people's activities in several places, so he guessed that there should be someone in the dark tonight.
Still, he remained cautious along the way and was relieved when he walked safely to the edge of the forest outside the terminus.
"Which container is it?"
"The one near the wall, I originally wanted to sneak in at night, but there are people on duty everywhere, so it's not easy to get close."
Many people don't quite understand the intentions of the people at the terminus, but they inevitably imagined something similar to the situation they were in. Now that they know that Rick and the others are also part of that much talked about organization, they wonder how they were caught and whether they have uncovered a secret.
Michonne was the first to speak and her eyes unconsciously fell on Airon, "Why are these people capturing them, aren't they afraid of our revenge?"
Looking at the sky that was getting darker and darker, Airon simply said a few words, "To capture people there are only three possibilities, the first is forced labor, the second is for pleasure and lastly to have live food to feed on."
"How?"
There were sudden whispers throughout the group.
On the other hand, Carol was pensively remembering those people Rick had mentioned. Still, she didn't think Airon would experience similar situations. And if Airon thought so, she thought so too.
At this moment everyone's minds instantly cleared.
Yes, this makes sense, why would they put up signs to welcome survivors if they end up capturing all of them, it doesn't make sense until you think of it that way.
In everyone's eyes, anger was reflected!
Rage!
The people here are relying on their hands to defend themselves, no matter how difficult the situation is, no one has considered the behavior of cannibalism, which is a direct betrayal of humanity.
"They must be killed!"
"That's right, these kinds of beasts can't go on living!"
Seeing everyone's excitement, Airon lightly pressed the gun in his hands and said, "If they really are cannibals, of course we won't let them live another day, but we'll have to wait and see the overall situation. First, we must talk about the plans."
After hearing these words, the group people instantly fell silent. Carol was very surprised by this attitude. She understood in a closer way why Airon is called a commander, no one can convince a large group of people wherever they go.
Without realizing Carol's thoughts, Airon was assigning tasks to these people.
He doesn't want to let anyone go at the terminus. The threat of these guys is not really high, but they are disgusting people who at any kind of time can cause them a lot of trouble.
In the original story, it was a coincidence that caused Bob's death and indirectly caused Sasha's mental breakdown. If it wasn't for Tyreese, she shouldn't have been able to face him at first. But in the end it was the fault of the group who insisted on leaving the terminus.
Now Airon has the possibility, not that he would like to leave these kinds of enemies alive, so now he must finish them all off completely.
"Glenn, Tyreese, T-dog and Jesus, you four lead twenty people to attract walkers. It takes at least hundreds of them."
"Understood!"
"Michonne, Victor, Ezekiel and Negan, you each lead thirty men to protect the surrounding area.
"Understood!"
"Madison, I want you to stay in contact with the group on the road and let me know if anything happens that we need to pay attention to."
"Understood!"
"The rest of you guys will follow me in a little while. Just take advantage of the favorable terrain."
"Understood!"
"Okay, I want open communication at all times. After the operation begins, everyone must follow my instructions."
"Understood!"
"Okay, move out now!"
The two hundred people split into several teams in an instant and followed their respective captains to their positions, while Airon m and the two led a group of people to sneak around a wall on the side of the terminus.
"Take care of the roof and windows, I don't want surprises."
The people behind looked in the direction of Airon's finger and saw two vague figures hiding in the corner.
Watchers in the dark.
"I got this, let's go!" Daryl patted Nick who was in Airon's group and they both advanced with knives in hands.
After a few seconds, they both took out these two people in the dark.
...
Time passed slowly, and the sky gradually darkened. After eliminating some guards, Airon has been looking at the containers from time to time, always confirming the safety of the people inside.
The hour hand slowly pointed to nine o'clock at night, and the sky had darkened completely. Tonight's night was extraordinarily dark and the moon in the sky was covered by clouds, providing them with good cover.
Calling for the group members to follow closely, Airon took the lead and climbed up the courtyard wall.
Each time they passed a suitable ambush point, some team members would lag behind. Considering that their gunfire was likely to attract too many walkers, an ambush and retreat line was set up.
The guards were picked off one by one, quietly and effectively.
Directing these remaining fifty people around the courtyard, and eventually many of the places were now protected by Airon's people.
Of course, he did not forget the objective of this operation: after clearing the courtyard, he went to the container where Rick and the others were being held.
Crunch!
Rick's group that was still studying countermeasures suddenly heard the container door open, Rick immediately pulled out his gun and looked at the black shadow on the door.
"Who's there?"
"Are they sleeping?"
A familiar voice sounded in the ear, and all the people in the prison looked at this blurred shadow with surprise on their faces, and Rick even exclaimed excitedly under his breath.
"Airon!!!?"
"Look at nothing else, I never thought that so many leaders of my organization were gathered together as prisoners!"
