Chapter 304 - In Depth

No one would care about these words that were true. This man, who looked like an Angel from heaven, stood outside the train car where Rick and the rest were.

You could tell that all the people whether they were from home base or Atlanta were very surprised. Even Elen on the side of darkness looked at the man outside. That person she had been hearing about on different occasions finally knew his real appearance.

But there was also another group of people who looked at him silently with doubts, is this person Airon? That man who ran the whole organization?

When Abraham and the others heard Airon's name, they engraved his face in their memories so that from now on they would always know who the leader was, simply standing aside in silence.

After all, no one knew the situation outside and it was better to wait in silence to see what the plans were.

No matter what anyone else thought, Rick was the happiest person at the moment. He is the one who felt the guiltiest of all, not only because Lori was involved in this, but also because there is a little girl who should not be living in this situation.

Rick eagerly stepped forward and gave Airon a hug, he kept stroking Airon's back with one hand not knowing what to say about his situation.

Lori secretly breathed a sigh of relief. If her husband is the happiest right now, then she is undoubtedly even happier. It can be said that the reason the people here were captured is more or less related to her.

Rick sorted out his chaotic thoughts and finally regained his composure, then remembered the current situation they were in and said, "How come you came back so soon, didn't you say it would take you at least a year?"

Waving to Shane and scanning the people inside the carriage, Airon did not answer that question. Now is not the time to talk about these things.

"Let's not talk about this for now, I will tell you  what will happen."

When everyone heard this sentence, no one could help but come closer, they understood that Airon must have prepared to leave this place, so no one interrupted Airon's next words, waiting in silence during that time.

"Now both the outside and part of the inside are surrounded by my people. In order to have more control of the situation, you must stay here temporarily. This time I came with all the people I gathered in Washington. They don't know you, so the best way to help is to stay in this place for now."

"We will take care of eliminating all these people, they must not worry about shooting, and above all I don't want them to casually leave this place, otherwise it will be easy to accidentally hurt you, understand?"

There wasn't a single idiot here, everyone nodded understandingly, Airon nodded and said that he handed his M4 to Rick, two pistols and some knives.

"None of you need to fight, but if someone comes in you should be prepared."

Closing the wagon door, Airon and the others advanced through the dark place arriving shortly at the main entrance.

After a while of fiddling with the lock, the door was slowly opened. Looking at the surrounding darkness, no one really knew when the walkers his people were gathering would arrive.

But no one was in a hurry, while in the wagon where Rick and the others were, he was asked a lot of questions about Airon.  Rick was in a much better mood at this point. Seeing that these people were so interested, he simply introduced them in detail.

Airon is an amazing man!

After further explanation, that sentence popped into everyone's mind, except for one whose expression was not very good.

This person is Eugene. Ever since he heard Morgan's words in that house last time, he has been thinking about the questions he should be asked about his situation.

Just now, the leader of that mysterious organization brought a group of survivors from Washington. This prayer was indifferent to others, but to his haters it was like something worth gold. As I kept thinking, why did all these people give up their lives in Washington to come to Atlanta?

But people's attention wasn't on that subtle detail, they were all listening to the people they hung out with a few days ago talk about Rick.

And in the group, there was another person who was thinking wildly was Lori, her reckless behavior last time caused the death of one person, but her mind this time was still making her act impulsively.

Considering everything that had happened in the prison these past few months, even though there were people dying day by day, no one had had this kind of problem when they left the base, which made her feel guilty.

She looked silently at her husband beside her, who was talking with Elen and the others. Lori moved toward the door secretly. There was a dead silence outside, which seemed unusually peaceful, even quieter than before. But now whispers could be heard.

Peering through the crack in the door, space was limited so she couldn't see very far. But with the moonlight that had cleared, the space revealed a little more.

Seeing that most of the yard Lori could be seen, she did not continue to approach, but looked carefully at the surrounding environment.

What she thinks she should do is consider how to get out. Rick, her husband, is very relieved at Airon's words, but she is not. If something happens, they must have another way out.

After secretly observing the outside for a while, she gently withdrew from the door and saw how her husband was still chatting with people, so no one noticed her movements.

...

Terminal Entrance.

The door was open at this time, and a large group of figures gradually emerged from the darkness, staggered from side to side, as if they were drunk.

But if anyone got close enough to see, they could tell that this group gave off a smell of blood and rottenness, so it didn't take a genius to figure out that these were walkers.

The group of T-dog and Jesus spent minutes attracting walkers, and after a while they soon gathered hundreds but this took time to gather them.

As for Airon and George, they took advantage of this time to walk around the terminusand sneak inside.

This place was deserted, and everything seemed to indicate that they were sleeping. So Airon regretted having made the decision to lure the walkers.

However, there was still a dim light shining through the cracks in the doors of the individual rooms. So Airon and George did not go to the lodging area.

It can be seen that this place used to be an abandoned work station, and there were apartment signs on the doors of many rooms. During this time, they didn't meet anyone on the way, and soon the two of them came to a room with a workshop number.

The door of the room in front of him was a double door, so it was conceivable that the space inside was quite large, and standing in front of the door they could smell a faint odor of blood.

"This should be the ' workshop.' , shouldn't it?' Thought Airon to himself.

But George, who knew nothing, whispered, "Boss, there seems to be a smell of blood in here, as well as a smell of disinfectant."

"Well, let's go in and have a look." Airon gently pushed the door.

The door opened without making a sound, which should be the result of prolonged use. When the door opened, a strong stench of blood wafted through the room.

"This is it, the smell of raw meat?"

"Umm..."

As the two entered the room, George turned on the flashlight.

The looming scene appeared before his eyes.

George's pupils contracted and he muttered, "I can't believe it..."
