Chapter 180 - We Are Not Easily Intimidated

Some of the people who were in front of Airon and that strange man turned their heads and saw that Ezekiel, who was chatting with his group less than half an hour ago, was standing behind them with two of his guards, pointing their guns at them.

Airon who looked at Ezekiel and his people, and then at Jesus who was being pressed by him, instantly understood what these people were thinking.

This is a complete misunderstanding!

But at this point, he couldn't say what he was thinking, after all, the main reason he could understand the situation was because he knew these people and none of his group did yet.

He hadn't hit Jesus on the ground very hard, but when he saw a gun pointed at him he pulled out his gun and pointed it at his head, as he slowly got to his feet.

At that moment, Richard and Jerry also came out from the other side of the modified RV and, together with Ezekiel, formed a small circle, but were surprised to find that the other party did not show panicked expressions, but were very calm as if this did not matter to them.

"Oh, your highness, don't you think there should be some strong reason for me to come into conflict with my people?"

Ezekiel looked at Carson on the ground and said in a not so powerful voice, "I'm very sorry, but these people have a relationship with my people, so you can't hurt them."

Suddenly Airon put the gun away, walked towards Ezekiel and said with a cold smile, "First of all someone is trying to save a life, I don't know or care what you are thinking, but you should have seen the way better. If you think we are easy to threaten, you are completely wrong with the nature of our people."

After he finished speaking, the engine of two issues could be heard from behind Ezekiel's people and two Humvees with machine guns pointed at him while several people got out of the car and pointed at them.

Some people also got out of the modified RV and more came up, Sasha, Michonne and the others who were clearing walkers pointed their guns at this group of people.

"Put your weapons down, wait quietly for my partner to finish what he is doing and then I will make a decision about you."

When Airon finished saying these words he turned around and entered the modified RV. Jesus who was released, under the guns pointed at him, walked slowly towards the group of people with him, looking at all these people doubtfully.

"I think today is a bad day!"

Seeing that the number of people was twice as many as had visited him, Ezekiel lowered his gun, looked at Jesus with a tired expression and his tone became a bit accusing, "I feel like I really did something stupid this time..."

"Your Majesty, all your decisions are always the right ones."

"Jerry! Shut up!"

"Yes, your majesty!"

Under the gaze of many guns, the group froze in place, while Carson on the ground explained what had just happened in a low voice.

When Jesus heard that this group cut off Wesley's hand, he could not contain his anger and asked Glenn and the others not far away, "Why did they cut off Wesley's hand?"

At that moment, Carson, who was standing off to the side, suddenly spoke up and whispered to Jesus, Ezekiel and the others, "By the way, when I came out, I heard them say that Wesley was bitten by a walker..."

Jesus was even more puzzled. Looking at Carson strangely, I ask him directly, "So why do they still need medical attention from these people?"

Daryl had been upset with these strangers ever since they attacked them, and when he heard Jesus' stupid words, he immediately pointed out to him, "Are they idiots? Didn't you hear what he said? That man was bitten by a walker."

Seeing that everything was getting out of hand, Glenn, who was standing off to the side, explained to these people something they apparently didn't know, "After being bitten by a walker, cutting off the bitten part right away won't kill them, didn't you know that?"

"What?"

Ezekiel and the others were surprised when they heard Glenn's words and Glenn continued to explain.

"But it is clear that this result only applies to hands and feet, plus someone in your people must have medical knowledge to treat the wound, otherwise contract, simple bleeding or something like infection can easily kill people, now do you understand what is happening?"

Jesus pointed to Carson and the other confused people and asked, "Then why are you pointing your guns at them?"

After making this statement, Jesus repented. How could he ask such an irrational question today? It seems he was confused by a series of previous events.

But Daryl, who was holding his crossbow and pacing back and forth, found one more opportunity to speak, "You look like a kid who just left home!"

Daryl looked at Jesus with deep resentment, although he rarely got like this, this time he really was angry. But Jesus still didn't come to understand that this was just a misunderstanding, he just flashed a smile that really wasn't a smile.

"Jesus is what everyone calls me..."

"Nobody cares about that!"

"Jesus..."

...

At this point, Ezekiel wanted to scream until he got all his frustration stuck in his chest out, he wanted to also hang Jesus by his hair and beat him, but it wasn't smart to confront Jesus with these people watching him, so he can only wait for him to talk to Airon about this.

As expected, Bob quickly finished tending to the injured man. This type of injury is mainly taken care of by stopping the bleeding, and what follows is further treatment. As long as the wound is not infected, there is a good chance that this man will survive.

But what followed was how to deal with the people at Hilltop. If you now confront that shelter someone like Gregory will not back down because of this problem. After all, he still cared about his reputation as a leader at Hilltop.

Airon watched as Bob finished healing that man. Wesley was already awake even during the healing process, but because of the anesthesia, he didn't feel any pain, but losing an arm left him a little lost.

Looking at Wesley with blurry eyes, he said with some comfort.

"Think of the good things ahead. Even though you lost a hand, you didn't die becoming a walker. You're lucky you lost an arm in time, it's all good now."

Wesley perked up and thanked her, then, as if remembering something, asked, "What about Carson and the others? Uh, I mean, what happened to my other two buddies?"

"They're outside, don't worry."

Wesley breathed a sigh of relief and tried to sit up slowly, feeling that, except for the numbness in the severed hand, there was nothing wrong with him, but his body felt a little weak for obvious reasons.

He stood up, looked at the sunlight coming through the shooting port and took a deep breath, the previous despair was gone, replaced by the hope of living, he sorted out his chaotic thoughts and looked at the people who saved him.

"I can only say thank you again for saving me, may I know your name?"

"The one who cured you is named Bob and you can call me Airon." As he said this, he gave a reassuring look and said, "You better go check on your buddies, it seems they were so worried about your safety that they even came with guns."

Wesley was surprised and walked out that slow past the modified RV. At that moment, Jesus and the others were sitting on the ground, surrounded by people in military uniforms, and Ezekiel's people were also sitting off to the side.

"Jesus, Carson, Edward!"

Hearing these words, the Hilltop group got up from the floor and saw with surprise Wesley walking towards them with a bandage wrapped around his left hand.

"Wesley! Are you okay?"

Wesley gave them a few reassuring words, then turned and bowed to Ezekiel before asking, "Did you attack Airon's group?"

"We couldn't help it, we saw him cut off your hand and thought they were bad people." Carson said with some guilt.

The corner of Ezekiel's mouth twitched and he felt like all the trust he had built with this group had been crushed by these idiots.

Walking forward, he leaned slightly towards Airon and said in an apologetic tone, "I'm so sorry, we didn't realize this beforehand, and I would like to express my sincerest apologies to you on behalf of the Kingdom."

Airon's originally cold expression eased a bit, he looked at the few people and calmly said, "Considering that your motives were noble and something my people appreciate, I will let this offense pass."

At the same time as several people breathed a sigh of relief, Airon spoke again, "But remember I only give people two chances, you have spent the first and if you point your weapons at my people again, they will be my enemies."

As these words were spoken, Ezekiel and the others suddenly felt the hairs on their bodies stand on end, this was a feeling of being threatened by a power they cannot overcome, and their breaths became heavier but this was only fleeting.

Ezekiel felt very guilty because he had doubted Airon from the beginning, but when he saw those military vehicles and all these people, he knew he was wrong and the best thing to do was to try to support these people.
