Chapter 120 - What will be the name?

In a silent dark room.

Airon suddenly opened his eyes, suddenly got up from the bed, covered his chest lightly with his broad palms, gasped continuously and sat on the bed uncomprehendingly, staring at the dark room, unable to recover for a long time from the sudden shock.

After a while, he turned his head, looked at the slightly dark space outside the window, touched his face unconsciously, remembered the actual scene in the dream a moment ago, and for some reason suddenly had a sense of deja vu.

But in a trance, the things in the dream became blurry again, unreal, and when Airon wanted to recall them carefully, he couldn't remember anything at all.

Sighing helplessly, Airon stopped thinking about it for the moment, lifted the quilt covering his body and got out of bed, walked straight to the bathroom, reached out for a bucket of water, held the water with both hands and rinsed his face directly. The water touched his cheeks, instantly making him much more sober.

After wiping off the remaining water stains on his face, he raised his head and looked at himself in the mirror in front of him. In the mirror, there was a twenty-five year old man with messy hair and an expression devoid of good emotions.

During all this time, somehow the lives he had taken away no matter how little he felt about doing so were causing him some slight and very noticeable changes. Airon looked down, looked at the water and the reflection of the water showed his face with a very different feeling.

Airon took off his sweat soaked white t-shirt and exposed his muscular muscles. He took the towel from the bathroom and began to wipe his body. There were several scars on his body, many of which had been caused by his father's abuse, memories and marks that make him remember where he came from and what he wants.

After grooming himself, he left the bathroom, hung the dirty clothes on a chair, then pulled out of the closet a set of black military clothes he always wore and began to change. He walked to the table where all his weapons plus his bulletproof vest were and began to silently take them.

He looked at a notice under the door and then bent down to look at what he was not informed about at the time, after all there are very few who wake him up if it is nothing serious, after picking it up he saw the contents of the letter.

[Notice: General Airon, as you ordered, Mrs. Grimes is scheduled to have her delivery today, the doctors are already prepared for when the time comes for the operation].

Seeing that it was still early, Airon rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed and planned to regain his senses a bit. As planned, Lori would not be able to deliver her child naturally, so it would have to be a cesarean section.

When he learned of the vast differences in these, many doctors stated that Lori was lucky that the prison had the necessary equipment to perform this surgery, otherwise it was estimated that Lori would die otherwise.

At this point, many days had passed since the virus outbreak broke out in the world and it was time for people to stop being trusted. Now, there had to be strict vigilance and everyone who came to the S.C.T. community bases would have to abide by the rules.

This all started since Airon was attacked and injured by a group of people who originally wanted to kill him, and although he wanted to somehow save them while teaching them a lesson, things didn't go as he thought so he decided it was time to be a little tougher.

In the days following Airon's arrival at the base located at the Georgia University, several strategic points were created around the base where soldiers would be watching for hordes of walkers that could cause problems in the construction of the walls.

In turn, Sam Valdez in the city of Atlanta had been training new soldiers on the battlefield, eliminating not only walkers but also clearing entire buildings in the process.

As a result, Airon's bases had been more secure and prepared for future movements, this ensured many things at once which was good.

...

Later, the doctors had been preparing in the infirmary since morning, today is a big day where the first new life in the central base is about to be born!

At ten o'clock in the morning, Lori was brought into the operating room and the doctors were ready for the moment.

Lori held Rick's hand tightly and kept telling him everything would be okay.

Rick continued to follow her and also tried to talk about other things to keep his wife calm.

After the preparations for the operation were completed, all the people at the door were dismissed from the operating room, and Airon left as well.

Outside the operating room, Rick, Carl and Airon waited outside.

Rick stroked his son's head, looked at his immature face and thought about the impending birth of his second baby. He couldn't help but feel the pressure doubling. Would he be able to protect his wife and children well in this apocalypse?

As Rick was deep in thought, Carl nudged his father's arm and said, "Dad, do you remember the last time you told mom to name the baby?"

Rick looked at Carl fondly, put his hand back on his head and said softly, "Of course, son! Your mother and I hope you can give the baby a good name!"

Carl nodded excitedly and said, "I'll do it, I have a good name ready, I'll just say it when the baby is born!"

Rick was a little nervous at first, but at that moment he was amused by the serious look on his son's face, he couldn't help but turn his head to look towards the operating room door and held out his hand to Carl.

"Everything will be fine Rick, it's not a difficult operation after all." Airon said some time later.

"Airon is right!"

Rick heard a woman's voice behind him, and when he looked back, it was Michonne, Sasha and Tyreese following close behind.

Rick smiled politely, nodded and waved to several people, he was about to speak, but found that the crowd around him seemed to be animated, he hurried to turn his head to check and found that the door to the operating room finally opened.

At that moment, his wife Lori was lying on the bed, her face was slightly pale, but she was in good condition, and she was holding a baby in her arms, who was being wrapped in layers of cotton cloth at the time.

Many women gathered around and looked at the baby with smiles on their faces. This is the first baby they have seen since the end of the world began. This not only represents the birth of a new life, but it also signifies the birth of a new world.

Lori looked up at Rick with a smile all over her face. Rick also reached over and took his wife's hand tightly. He leaned over and kissed Lori's forehead, and then he heard Lori whisper in his ear. She said, "It's a girl!"

After speaking, he picked up the baby and handed it to Rick. Rick took the baby with slightly trembling hands. Looking at his daughter's little face that was still flushed, the sparse hair on her head was scattered on her head and the little eyes were closed tightly.

Rick temporarily forgot everything in his mind at this moment, only his little daughter remained within his eyes, her every little movement infinitely magnified in Rick's eyes, who was willing to do anything to keep her safe.

The door outside opened again and Airon walked in and watched as everyone was in the room. "Alright, I know babies are cute events but the family needs to rest!"

Immediately someone from the crowd said something, "Airon, when will you have a girlfriend to make children?"

"Hmm... I'm not interested, I need to get out and let Lori rest." Airon said with a wry smile.

Seeing that everyone was leaving, Airon walked up to Rick and said, "Congratulations Rick, you have a beautiful daughter! Today we should celebrate the birth of your daughter, everyone is happy at the base."

That night, the newborn baby became the topic of attention!

Even Daryl was one of the few who went over to look at his friend's baby along with the people closest to Rick. Watching the baby kick and squirm in his arms, Daryl couldn't help but ask, "What's this baby's name?"

"Carl would name his sister, he said he'd think about it but he hasn't said anything yet." Rick touched Carl's head to his side. Carl scrunched up his face, tugged at his father's clothes and signaled for them to go outside and talk outside.

Looking at the father and son leaving the room, Daryl also flashed a rare smile, turned his head to the baby in his arms and said, "Your father and brother are out! Can I give you a name? How about Pragis?"

Standing behind Daryl, Beth burst out laughing at the name.

Lori, who was lying on the bed, shook her head in astonishment and said to Daryl, "That's not a good name..."

Daryl looked around and found that people had strange expressions on their faces. He looked at the crowd strangely and said, "What's the matter, doesn't a girl named Pragis sound good, I think it's pretty good!"

As soon as the words fell, I heard Rick's voice coming from behind me again. At some point, he and Carl had entered the room.

"Her name is Judith! Judith Grimes!"
