l looked around but so nothing but dead bodies lying on the ground. Who could've thought that this was how l would die, in the hands of these merciless people. All the memories l had while still living here on earth flashed in my mind as tears rolled down my face.
"Where am l?"l looked around but saw dozen of doors surrounding me.l wondered what was happening. Shouldn't l not be in heaven or something?l decided to go through one of the doors but which one?Just before l entered the one in the middle, a bright light shown on me and l found myself back to where l was killed. Was this a joke ? l saw my body lying on the cold blood. Terrified, l got out of the place l was only to find a forest surrounding me.l didn't know why l was back on earth but one thing was definitely clear,l wasn't going to find my answers by standing in the middle of nowhere. l walked around and when l realized l was just walking in circles l gave up and sat on the ground.l looked at the sky as l thought of Lucian and my parents and with that l found myself outside my parents' mansion. Did l just teleport??l was shocked but l brushed away the thought as l ran to my parents' house. Something was different about the house. First of all the furniture was different from how l had left it and there were people moving in and out of the house.l searched the house for my parents but they were nowhere to be seen and just then someone walked into the house. lt was
Lucian's father but what was he doing here.
A man in a black suit together with Lucian accompanied him.l walked towards them knowing fully well that they couldn't see me since l was more of a ghost. l heard them talking of my father's company and how they would make changes. This made me even more confused. What the hell was going on?And where were my parents?l stuck beside them hoping to get a clue of what was going on. After an hour or so, the man in a suit was done with his business and went away leaving behind Lucian and his father.
"l'll be out then."
"Will you come in time for dinner?"
"l don't think so,"
