Shark struggled from his sleep and when he finally opened his eyes, Yara was gone leaving a note on the bedside table. He got up feeling frustrated and drove back to his Villa.
"So clumsy! Clean that up!" Carina ordered everyone around as she one of the maid massaged her twisted leg. "Ouch! You can't afford these nice legs you ingrate! Be careful, will you?"
Shark entered the Villa and was shocked to see Carina making herself comfortable when she was supposed to leave.
"Marcus! Marcus!" He yelled.
"Poor Shark, your men are drowsing in the garden especially Marcus." She winked at him.
"What did you give them?"
"Relax, it'll take the whole day before they regain their senses. Meanwhile, why don't you come upstairs with me? I've prepared a nice bath for you." She played with his shirt buttons and Shark had no patience at all, he pushed her and ascended the stairs.
Carina throw the nail polish and followed him. However, Shark had locked his bedroom door and so she yelled Grasha's name.
"What do you need Ma'am?" Grasha panted after running up the staircase to the second floor.
"Get me the spare key, I need to have a bath." She commanded her.
"I'm sorry but there's no spare key for the Master bedroom." She uttered fearfully.
"Are you defying my orders? How dare you?" She raised her hand to hit her but two men jerked forward and carried her to the gate, throwing her outside. The gate was locked out of her reach and she had no choice but to leave.
Back in Shark's room, he chuckled watching a video that had gone viral of Carina being chased out of his Villa. The source of the clip wasn't known but he was glad someone was sabotaging het fake image.
"Oh girl, you're the talk of the internet. Look how your fans are calling you names....oh my gosh!" Davy rushed to her.
"What? Of course it was Shark." She muttered under her breath.
"Your modelling career is over. What are we going to do? How are we going to pay for this house?" Davy complained.
"Will you stop it? We need to do something about this....think! Think Davy!" Carina paced up and down.
"I can't think of anything else we have already conned the studio manager and got away. Do you think he'll track us to Aston?" Davy freaked out.
"Stop chickening out. We have to find something against Shark...I'm just getting started and I'm not backing down until he agrees to marry me."
"Does he know you have nothing, that we're completely bankrupt?" Davy asked her.
"He doesn't need to know. No word about this to anyone or else we're screwed. We have to find a way to get money soon. I can't eat pasta every day...it sucks." She sneered.
Ever since Carina left Aston, she had lived a life of a princess having sold her father's properties. However, it was later discovered that she was living illegally and so she was thrown out of the posh house she had bragged on the Instagram page. Having signed to be an artiste in the music studio behind Davy's apartment, she gained a lot of followers and eventually a large sum of money from her manager. Later, she and Davy left the town and roamed about the streets of Aston for a while before she got the news of Shark's mother passing on.
It was an opportunity she couldn't take for granted. But now it seemed she had to try a little harder to win Shark's heart.

"Thank you for letting me have my final exams, I appreciate it. I can finally graduate with the rest." Yara muttered excitedly in company of Prof. Martinez.
"If you had told me earlier that you were ailing, I would have done something for you."
"Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't. Opening up isn't something I regard with ease, I'd rather face my problems alone."
"I understand where you're coming from. At least now you had a successful kidney transplant. You'll live longer to hold kids in your arms." Prof. Martinez said.
"Wow, it's one of the wishes I'm yet to fulfill." Yara smiled to herself.
"Whoa, isn't he cute? Is he your boyfriend?" Prof. Martinez saw a tall handsome young man waiting for them at the end of the hallway.
"What's he doing here?" Yara thought to herself when she saw Shark walking towards her.
"I'll go ahead. Make sure you sire a baby for him...it'll look cute." She giggled and walked into the adjunct offices.
"Hey, how was the exam?" Shark asked as he restrained himself from hugging her.
"It was easy I guess." Yara pursed her lips.
"I see." He nodded silently.
"Why are you here though?"
"Don't you want me anymore?" Shark wore a dark face.
"No, it's not that. I didn't expect you to come fetch me..." Yara's eyelids rolled.
"Come with me then, I want to show you something."
Before she could contemplate anything, he was already taking her to his Bugatti.
"Where are we going?" Yara asked out of curiosity.
"You'll see." He smiled fondly at her.
Shark helped her with the seat belt and she was afraid that he was so close. After being hospitalized for some days, Yara didn't know how it would turn out to be. When she woke up and back to her feet, she never had a chance to kiss him or get any intimate with him because they argued even when Vanessa was still yet to be laid to rest. When she moved out, Shark lost himself and was depressed.
"What's with the sign?" Shark asked when Yara who had been holding her breath finally sighed. He was hurt that she didn't want to act normal around him. He wanted things to be okay between them and he didn't even know how to broach the topic. She too, was on her own wondering how they'd finally cut the chase and devour each other lips....make love like before and sleep together like a normal couple. Even so, on her part, it felt heavier because het grandfather wouldn't want her to get involved with him ever again. How could she tell him that she never stopped loving him?
