In Shiffon Cafe
Xia is sitting there and having a cup of coffee. She was scrolling on her phone to pass her time.
Suddenly someone called her name from behind.
"Ms. Cheng!"
"Dr. Shau!!" Xia stood up and said.
"Sorry for being late," Shau Ting apologized.
"It's okay. I just arrived too," Xia smiled and said.
It seems like Xia has come here to meet Shau Ting, not Suyin.
Does that mean she lied to Annyu?
Xia knows that Annyu can get her lies very easily and so without refusing his offer of dropping her at Shiffon Cafe, Xia simply agrees to it and tries to stay calm.
And this time, Xia succeeded in lying to Annyu for the first time.
She couldn't let Annyu know that she was going to meet Shau Ting. Or else, Annyu would never let her come here.
