Cherry looked at her mum and Tom but could not tell if they were happy or worried. There was traces of happiness on their faces but not enough to erase the worried look on their faces.
"Uhm, I mean if we can afford it."
Now Cherry herself was worried, how dare she mention such an expensive place when her father's business was falling, but he was doing his best to continue the family's tradition.
"And what if we can't afford it?" Tom asked with a smirk, hoping to make a mockery of her this time, cause it was obvious that was the only place she had in mind.
"Then you get to choose, simple, right?"
She tried to look calm, but she was very nervous. What if her father took offence, and believed she was trying to rub it on his face that he could not afford such a place.
"Father, I'm so..."
She was cut off before she could even say the word 'sorry'
"You picked the right place."
"Did you hit your head on a wall? That place is too expensive."
The children were all nodding their head in support of their mother.
"I know Lola, but you see, my business can come back to how it was before, in fact, it could become getter than before, what's the big deal if I lose just a million dollars for each of us when I know I can make more than that if I meet better business men. "
They were all surprised to see their father that happy, but their mother still had a worried look.
" That's if you meet better business men? "
" Oh, sure, you seem to be forgetting it is more like a vacation place for business men. "
" OK, fine, I can't persuade you out of it, I also wish to go there."
"Are we really going there?" Tom couldn't help but ask just to confirm
"Of course, we are going, go pack kids, we are going to the Island, haha, can't wait to get there."
"When are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow, Tom, Tomorrow."
John almost forgot he was in his children's presence as he started jumping into the air like a kid
"Ahem, why don't we finish our meal before any other thing."

Cherry sat on her bed and jumped into the air, she still couldn't believe it.
"Haha, yes, I did it, dad agreed, oh my gosh, yes, what to do, oh yes, I need to pack some clothes and makeup, go shopping with Lara, yeah, I'll do the rest at the Island, I'm sure they have the best there."
She picks up her phone
"Yup, time to call her."

Cherry met herself in front of the Stansford's home.
"Hey, Mitchell, its been a while."
"Yeah."
"I came for Lara."
"She's not home, she went across the street to get something."
"Ok, I'll wait."
"Come in."
Mitchell stepped back to let her in before closing the door behind her.
"Do feel at home, if you want me to get you anything just let me know."
"Okay."
Cherry was not one to relate well with males but there were some exceptions. She felt awkward with him cause it was just a month ago he told her his feelings for her, but she didn't feel the same, she just saw him as a big brother.
Mitchell was sitting opposite her, but seemed busy as he just kept typing away at his laptop. Cherry kept stealing glances at him as she was appreciating his beauty.
"You know, you could just tell me to look you in the eye so you can have a better view, or you could just come closer." saying this, he brushed his hair to the back and used his index finger to trail down his exposed chest.
Cherry took a gulp, but quickly looked away, but not without a red face.
" Did I miss anything? "
Standing at the door was a smiling Lara.
