As aran went back to his room, he immediately closed the door and started to draw a formation on the floor using the mana in his rings. Since it was just for sending a signal, he didn't need any spirit stone. As he drew the formation and activated it, Arrax got the signal and suddenly teleported there following that signal.
Even though Aran's room was small, Since Arrax was in a cat's form, it wants a problem. For Arrax, he felt a little weird about living with a weak human and helping him. Therefore he wanted to complete the missions that aran gives him as soon as possible and get the pills so that he can get stronger and get away from him.
" Don't think that I will be with you forever, give me a mission as soon as possible, and the deal is one pill for one mission. Don't forget it !" he said. But listening to him Aran was smiling thinking about something.
"You are in luck today because I already have a mission for you and I have also prepared a pill to give you, right after you complete this mission! " Aran said.
Hearing that arrax was pleased to know that he won't have to stay there for long.
" That's great! So tell me, who do I have to fight? " He asked.
" Fight? No! Why would you think that I will give you such an easy mission?, What you should do, is something more important and more difficult, Something only you can do! "
" Difficult? I don't think there is something difficult for me; At least not in this lower realm !" Arrax said.
Even though he didn't want to do something difficult on his first mission, he knew that there won't be anything difficult for him in the lower realm. So he started to wonder what might be that difficult for him.
"Well, that's maybe true !" Aran said and took out the jade slip which had the details on the basics of language literature and he also took out many notebooks with a mana pen artifact.
Looking at them Arrax couldn't understand what they might be.
" What are these? " he asked.
" These are the things you will need for your first mission " Aran replied. But for Arrax it seemed a little sketchy.
" What would I do with this?" he asked.
" Calm down, I will explain it to you, what's the hurry? So here take this jade slip, this has all the information about your mission! " Aran said and gave the slip to Arrax. As arrax took it and started to wonder what might it be aran continued to explain.
" Now, slowly pour some of your mana into the slip. " Aran said.
When Arrax followed his words and poured some of his mana into the slip, the slip got activated and it started to transfer all the information to his mind. As he started to remember all those information, his head started to hurt because the information was a lot for him to take and he had never experienced something like that,
" What are these things I am remembering? What Did You Do to me?" Arrax got very angry and almost got transformed But Aran immediately tried to convince him saying that
" It's just the basic language literature, It will help you to read and write, didn't worry, it's not anything dangerous !"
Aran tried to calm Arrax down because he didn't want arrax to transform and create chaos. But instead of calming, it made arrax more furious!
" Literature? Reading? Writing? I am a dragon! why the hell would a dragon have to read and write, Why would I have to learn all this?" He started to shout with anger.
" Calm down, it a no big deal, it's just a part of your mission, " Aran said.
Although he had predicted this behaviour of arrax, he didn't think that it will get this serious. Even in the shape of a cat, arrax was talking in his monstrous voice.
" Part of the mission, what kind of mission is this? " Arrax asked.
" See, that's why I told you that it will be difficult but you didn't hear me!" aran said.
" Stop Repeating that Kid, and tell me what the mission is! "
Arrax asked and started to move towards aran. As he was moving, his size started to increase and his teeth started to get sharper because he was furious.
" Okay okay Relax. So your mission is that you have to write all the things you have learned from the slip into these notebooks. By doing that you will become fluent in reading and writing " Aran replied.
Hearing that Arrax got so furious that he couldn't control his anger anymore and he suddenly jumped towards aran to attack him but before he could attack aran the contract seal got activated threw Arrax away from aran and stopped him from attacking.
As arrax blew away and fell against the wall, he realised that he just went a little overboard and it calmed him down a little. so he just got up and moved close to aran.
" Why would you ever think that a dragon like me, would need reading and writing ?" Arrax asked. Since fighting was mostly what dragons used to do, he wasn't happy about aran making him learn literature.
" I thought you wanted to get stronger and that you will do anything for that! So what happened to you now ?" Aran asked.
" Yes, I will do anything to get stronger. Anything but this!" Arrax replied.
" Sorry, I have nothing else to do for you, You either do this and take the Pill or do nothing and stay weak " Aran replied.
He sounded serious. Even though Arrax didn't want to do something like that, he had no other choice but to accept it since he wanted to get stronger.
" When I get stronger, I will make sure that you will suffer for what you are doing! " Arrax said.
" So, you are threatening me already ?" Aran asked.
" What would you do if I am?" Arrax asked.
" Nothing. I don't care, as long as you complete your mission " Aran replied.
Arrax moved towards the pen that was on the floor and as he held that in his hands he realised why aran told him to change his hands like humans. He realised that Aran had always planned to make him do that. He started to feel angry but he controlled himself and decided to do whatever aran wanted since he wanted to get stronger.
"Usually it would take days for humans to finish writing in all these books, but since you are a dragon and you have the Lightning attribute, you can do it faster. Do it as fast as you because I have another mission for you !" Aran said.
Arrax immediately took one of the notebooks and started to write.
" Okay, you do that, it's already dark, I am going for dinner. So, do dragons eat food ?" Aran asked.
"Of course, dragons eat food, you idiot! " Arrax shouted.
" Okay, okay, I will try to get some meat. Stay in the room and don't leave no matter what! " Aran said and left the room.

When aran got out of the room, Barton was there waiting for him.
" Hello brother, I heard some sounds from your room, what was that? " He asked.
" Ohh that's nothing, I was just reading some books, but they were so difficult to learn, that I got angry and threw some of them. You know how the sword fighting books are right? " aran said.
" oh Yes, brother. It's difficult for me too with all the mana points. But don't worry it will get easier with practising!" Barton replied.
" Yes. Thank you, brother. " Aran replied.
" So, are you headed to the diner ?" Barton asked.
" Yes, What about you? "
" I am also headed there. Let's go together !" Barton said and as both of them left for dinner together.
As they went there, Adelina was also there. After meeting with her, the three of them ordered the food and sat together. As they got their food, they started to eat.
" So, you seemed quite busy the last few days, what happened?" Adelina asked. Since Aran was busy arranging the things he needed for summoning a dragon, he was mostly avoiding them. So they wanted to know if he is having any problems. But aran who always turns problems into an opportunity had already thought of a good answer.
" Nothing special. Actually, when I was home, I had a cat named Arrax as a pet. He was very close to me. I felt a little lonesome without him so I asked professor Terrowin to bring him here. That's why I was a little busy " Aran replied making a sad face.
" Is that what you were talking to him privately when we last went there to get our swords?" Adelina asked.
" Yes. Since I can't go home, I asked him to help me and he helped me and brought Arrax from my home!" Aran replied.
Both of them were pleased to hear that since aran was talking about arrax as a real person, they understood how much he likes his pet.
" So, where is he?" Adelina asked.
" He is in my room. I have to fetch food for him when I return !" Aran replied smiling innocently.
" Why didn't you bring him here?" He asked.
" I thought It might be a problem. Even though it's allowed to have the beasts as pets in the academy, Arrax is just a normal cat. So I thought others might not like it!" Aran replied but the obvious reason was that Aran wanted arrax to continue with his writing instead of wasting his time on these things.
" Can we see him?" Adelina asked.
"Of course, you can, I will bring him tomorrow !" Aran said. He thought it will be better to show arrax to them since it will be less suspicious.
After talking about a lot of different things and finishing the food, they all left for their room. While going back aran took some food for arrax since he knew that Arrax might need a lot of food since he was a dragon he took some more from the academy diner.
When aran reached his room, arrax was still writing and he still had that angry mood. Aran gave the food too to arrax.
" Here, eat this, I hope it's enough for you!" Aran said. Arrax stopped writing and started to eat the food.
" Take some rest after eating you can continue writing tomorrow !" Aran said and went to sleep.
