Opening up the new tab on my menu I see a large spring like shape strung up and pulled taught and it's got many colors making up a section on the spring almost like a strand of DNA science fair project that's been broken... At the bottom it's glowing and at the top of the window is text

*Mortal Coil: Level 1/10

Foundational limit: 10k/50k

Description: Break me or shuffle off me your choice. The higher level a mortal coil before breaking the greater the future potential.*

Chuckling at the dumb joke I shrug and close the window...

Looking at my health that's finally begun to increase after a long while I can't help but smile... It's so hard to increase your health when you've got a high foundation... As the health isn't related to any stat I still have it's not something that grows normally with levels... I need to still excersize and tempor my body to increase my health but it's not really achievable through excersize for me... As I'd have to excersize hundreds of times harder then every other person to achieve any results at all... Which just got worse with my foundation now being 10k... Luckily it seems that pill had the side effect of temporing my body... I've also been working on designing a skill using my many kinds of mana to tempor my body but it takes a lot of effort to not just... Make another version of the human bomb skill... That so many people have acquired after trying that exact same thing... Mages needing more health try it all the time the tankier classes don't need to bother as they are all inherently given a skill related to that when they chose that path... Such as palidans can stand in the sun all day and gain more hp... while warrior can gain more hp by becoming injured. Rogues can gain hp by falling... So many rogues dive bombing off high places and splattering on the ground when they overestimate themselves trying to speed up their hp bars rise... Priests can't tempor themselves the same way as any of the others just like mages and tend to have to go the old excersize route... Some people have found ways to temper their bodies through special excersize techniques or even elemental skills they created but those are always secrets people keep to themselves to get a edge on the competition... There's only one technique that was leaked to everyone and it's not viable... Death Temporing... Someone figured out you can just kill yourself in varying different degrees of messed up experiencing excruciating pain repeatedly to gain hp... It is almost never used though because of the biggest issue... It only works if you kill yourself... Also many have gone insane trying... The rogues falling off of high places don't even count as gravity got the credit for the kill...

Some say gravity is controlled by a god who is by far the strongest of them all but refuses to show himself constantly growing stronger as pathetic creatures feed him xp by dieing to a fall... But most people realize that's bullshit and gravity works the exact same way in the game as in the real world... I mean sure you can control gravity and there are gods who have the power to do that but they are few and far between along with not really being able to do that for more then a few miles around them... Not get credit passively from all of gravities kills... I've also heard that the level 100 earth mage spell is gravity control... But you can only use it on one target and you have to touch them... also it won't kill them unless you do it to a flying target... I heard about a level 100 earth mage managing to assassinate a major assassin player by catching him while he was training and using the skill right before he jumped... it's unknown if he gets the credit for that though... No one with the skill has shared... All the public knows is it's basically a slow skill in normal times... so unless you can fly or are standing next to a cliff it's a skill no one has to worry about... Unlike the level 100 skills for every other field of magic... Fire summons a meteorite... Water a tsunami, light a massive tornado that heals all allies and throws enemies out, air is much less intimidating with a flying skill, dark is a domain type skill that allows you to step through the shadows around you and attack with shadows with a thought. Electricity is just a movement skill as well but it's terrifying in every field at once... it's considered a suicide bomber skill by many as if you use it to ram into something it will be a huge lightning explosion equal to your health and mana total in damage... not including your stats. It is also the fastest but most consuming of all the movement skills publicly known... It can out run wind in the air and out manuver darkness on the ground even passively dispelling the darkness with it's mere presence... Granted you gotta be really careful with it anyone can kill someone in that form by simply throwing an object at them... Ice is the most frightening... It's a domain skill with a passive damage over time... it protects attacks and slows everyone who come near you... It's nicknamed perfect balance.

Moving on I open up my companion tab and see the three other options for companions a cloud of hearts forming the shape of a bed with two silhouettes embracing unpon it... The battle companion tab... Greyed out of course... Then the flowing winds and clouds with a giant beautiful sunset in the background that is the mount section... Then the cluster of countless different beast track prints... Some paw prints others claw and other unspecified weird tracks some just looking like a bunch of scratch marks near a line and just finger prints in the mud... Others just big clefts for the hook prints... This is the only tab with color right now I clicked it and a single print of a paw lit up brightly with a crimson hue as a panel showed up before me. Unlike the hunter pets which is a thing... beast companions don't automatically match your level and their stats can shift wildly based on their rating and past... bloodline is also a key factor... Looking at the tab I get a little confused at first... As Felis became an actual dog... more specifically a wolf...

*Battle Pet: Felis

Level: 1/10 Exp 0/1000

Health: 100/100

Str: 12 Agi: 15 Dex: 8 Int: 3 Wis: 2

Foundation: 2134agi-1257wis <- You get a scale ->

Skill: [Beast Arts: Level 68] [Beserker Arts: Lever 53]

[Blood Magic: Level 23] [Beast-Human Transformation: Level 1]

Bloodline: Pure Helian Wolf Grade: Unique

History: Once a beautiful woman born to a noble prince she grew up with her only family in the world being her sister as she one day was forced into a marriage by there astranged father. Felis was forced to lose touch with her sister but one day left to look for her for years before finding her and her new brother in law and began to study under the magus to try to be worthy to stand by her sisters side. However the beast arts taught to her drove her mad as magic energy no human should possess tainted her body and her bloodline took control.*

Looking at the hundreds of skills under the first to arts I pass blood magic is weird and creepy... the transformation caught my eye though... I opened it up and winced... Gotta reach level 101 to transform freely... Then what's the point of giving it in the first place? I guess she was originally human maybe the skill is basically locked permanently in use? Reading her details I just got confused... Knowing that the sister involved was Eliza I can't help but wonder who the prince was and what led Eliza to run away leaving her only daughter and Felis behind... Shrugging I move on looking towards the stats grade of bloodline and the long history I smile... very strong pet... Looking to the compass in my inventory I sigh... To bad that Felis will not be able to meet the duchess... Whose name I keep forgetting for an unknown amount of time... Only Alice still has a chance.

Alex!!! Yeah that's what the Duchess name was... So... Alex is the granddaughter of a prince? So she's got royal blood in her... Hmm... That makes Ela's quest many times harder... I wonder if she knows... Shrugging I look to the small window beneath Felis' status and hit the summon button. Instantly light gathers as a little fur ball pops out of a little light exploding forth and lands on my chest I was blinded but when I felt the object strike my chest I quickly caught it... As my vision cleared I saw a little wolf cub staring up at me with bright crimson eyes... Ah cute... Now she's an actual doggie... Which makes this less awkward that she's not clothed... It was sooo awkward before... Miss the sight already though... Lol...
