"You don't really look like someone who likes mornings. You always get up so early?" Chyler gave Aria a side glance when they were halfway to the police station. Callaghan shrugged.
"You always sleep so long?"
"Fair." She sighed, shaking her head. "Seriously, can we at least pretend we're having a common goal? For now? For Machonto?"
"Gives you creeps as well, I see." The driver briefly looked at the passenger, seeing she nodded. "No worries. Since I've seen you doing outstanding detective work by stating obvious facts about me, I am almost sure you'll be on a streak, so this case can be closed fast, and we won't have to see each other ever again, let alone working together. Or with him."
"What do you have against me, actually? I haven't done anything to you." She drawled. "You're treating me like your enemy, always like a dog that's about to attack."
