A 17 year old teenage boy who was lined up on the right, took the first step towards the Magic Detection Orb. He wore a red shirt with lavish trimmings, indicating that he belonged to the noble class; handsome and dignified.
As Sanfort had explained earlier, they only needed to circulate their entire body's mana capacity into the Magic Detection Orb, and a color would appear to judge their true amount of mana.
The white color meant their mana number was between 100-200; this means they are no lesser than trash! Gray between 201-500, black or no color change on the Magic Detection Orb between 501-1300, dark red between 1301-2000, red between 2001-3000, and finally blue, between 3001-5000.
When the teenage boy circulated all his mana towards the Magic Detection Orb, it suddenly spun crazily, as if an element that was opposed to it had accidentally fused with it. Shortly after, a light gray color appeared which immediately made Sanfort reveal an ugly expression.
"Only 300? If you're a sword user then I'll understand. However, you're a magic user! With this amount of mana, even just casting 3 types of magic is enough to make you exhausted. Especially with the fire element innate, which consumed even more mana than the other two elements. Your future sure is bleak, Boy." Sanfort gave the gatekeepers a small nod to draw the teenage boy out. In Sanfort's judgement, killing even low grade goblins was difficult for the teenage boy.
"Mr. Sanfort, I am the third son of the Head of the Fendam Family! Please give me face and a chance!" The teenage boy tried to shake off the grips of the gatekeepers while looking at Sanfort's face with great hope.
"Poor Boy, come back in 3 years! Asmovius Magic and Sword Academy opens once every 3 years. I hope that with that time, you can evaluate yourself to be better and stronger." Sanfort waved his hand which made the teenage boy despair.
Sanfort is actually reluctant to be friendly with these tokenless prospective students. He didn't even put them in his eyes. However, the Academy Head's absolute order lingered firmly in his head, so he could only surrender and sigh. At least, he had a chance to destroy their mentality and hope.
"Okay, next! We need to save time. The second test will start in 1 hour and a half from now."
Almost all of the prospective students in the lined up panicked. After this test was over, they immediately took the second test? Didn't Sanfort give them some time to rest? However, it's actually much better than coming out as a failure.
Next, a person in line on the left stepped towards the Magic Detection Orb. He is a chubby teenager aged between 16-17 years. He is about 180 cm tall, with a black patch on the back of his bald head, making him stand out. He had a sinister build and carried a large sword 120 cm long on his back.
In front of the Magic Detection Orb, he began to circulate his entire mana capacity which immediately caused it to rotate crazily, so that a moment later a gray color appeared.
"450? This is not bad for a sword user. Can you show me your ultimate sword technique?" said Sanfort as he took a step back, giving the chubby teenager room to act.
"Ok, Sir." The chubby teenager then let out a long breath before getting into a stance. After a moment of silence; regaining his composure, he then dashed forward to take a preparatory step to deliver the attack. That's pretty fast for his body size. After a full ten steps, he took a high leap and spun through the air, before finally his large sword struck the ground and created a spiderweb-like crack. The attack also exerted an intense pressure that made the surrounding wind scatter and hit the other prospective students.
"Wow, what a powerful attack!"
"That attack might kill me if it hit my body directly."
The crowd started discussing and questioning the origin of the chubby teenager.
"He is a 2nd class swordsman, level between 20-25. That attack is quite strong, which could even injure a mid-class Orc," said Lein after observing him for a while from behind the lines.
"Good! However, that attack will only hit a fallen target or a target that doesn't have the strength to move. The spin in mid-air also gives the target time to escape, but it also provides an advantage that strengthens the attack. Overall, the technique is quite useful in times of wars, especially major wars. With a loud bang after an attack occurs, it also helps the warriors on your side to provide follow-up attacks due to the surprise effect."
Sanfort then paused and sighed, before continuing, "I also see that you possess the earth element innate. By combining the two in the future, you might be able to compete with the owner of the silver token." After explaining all of his observations, Sanfort reached into his pocket and took out a bronze token.
"Congratulations on being able to take the second test."
The chubby teenager grabbed the bronze token with a beaming face. He seemed to have received a great inheritance after decades of waiting. However, what made him happier was Sanfort's high hopes for him; made him want to train even harder. After that, he bowed several times, showing deep gratitude.
The chubby teenager then took long strides to head to the Academy grounds and joined the crowd of previous bronze token holders. Watching him walk away, almost everyone in the lined up wore expressions of envy and jealousy.
"Next," continued Sanfort.

30 minutes had passed during the first test and half of the total number of prospective students in line had reduced. However, only 60 of them passed. Fortunately, Ron, Lezzhy, and George, got somewhere in between.
Ron had the innate magic element fire with a mana capacity of 500. Even though he was only of average talent, but with high fighting spirit, Sanfort saw it in a different way. Sometimes, hard work can beat genius.
As for Lezzhy and George, they both have a mana capacity of 430. For George, that's actually below average. However, with the water-based element consuming only a small amount of mana for every magic use, Sanfort gave him a chance.
On the other hand, Lezzhy got a good rating from Sanfort. Apart from having slightly more mana capacity due to being a sword user, he also has good sword techniques. Sanfort even had a few compliments on him.
"Next," continued Sanfort.
Lein started to take long strides towards the Magic Detection Orb. This is his turn! Standing some distance away from the line, Ron observed. He was only curious about the actual amount of mana in Lein's body. With the immense power it had displayed so far, how much could it really be? However, seeing Lein stepping out of the line of magic users, Ron couldn't help but be surprised.
"Isn't Andes a sword user? Why is he on the right?"
It made Ron even more curious, so he naturally took long strides toward Sanfort. Seeing Ron leave, George followed closely behind.
Standing in front of the Magic Detection Orb, Lein could guess that it was only low grade. If he circulated his entire mana capacity to it, there might be an explosion.
"1/4 seems sufficient."
Lein started circulating a large amount of mana into the Magic Detection Orb. As a result, it rotated crazily, then a color appeared that made Sanfort's and everyone's eyes widen.
