A young man had once been told that no man is born equal. Initially, he never believed it, but now it seemed to have come back to haunt him. Twenty percent of the human population developed unique abilities known as quirks. At first, it was fascinating to see them using their abilities, but human jealousy knew no bounds, and soon the ones without these abilities drove the gifted individuals into hiding. Two centuries have passed since then. Miguel, a 15-year-old boy with chocolate brown skin, ocean blue eyes, and black hair with blue highlights, was wearing a dark blue academy uniform.
On the roof of a random building, he cowered in a corner, pleading, "Please don't hurt me!" A black-haired boy, also in a dark blue academy uniform and with an evil scowl on his face, taunted him, "Oh come on, don't cry, let's have some fun." As he punched Miguel, he continued, "Come on, fight back or are you gonna cry?" The more he was punched, the angrier Miguel became until he snapped, screaming, "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"
In that moment, Miguel activated his quirk for the first time, causing a huge weight to fall on his oppressor, crushing him against the ground. With the immense weight of his quirk on the roof, it caved in and collapsed. "Ahhhhhhh!" Miguel screamed as he fell.
This is where our story begins
