Back at the Goblin Village Adrian continued to stalk the goblins, the sun slowly began to set, and before the sky got fully dark they managed to capture one more goblin using the same tactic before he decided to call it quits for today, as the goblins went to bed.
Bright and early the next morning Adrian was right back outside the camp waiting for the goblins to slip up, and luckily his patience paid off because a group of five goblins began to head out of the village with weapons, most likely to go hunt for some food again.
He headed towards the hunting party and decided to use the same bait tactic again, however he had to be careful this time because there were many more goblins. He clutched his wooden spear as he stood up from the bush not far from the goblins and started running, he did not even do any acting this time because he wanted to ensure his safety.
And naturally it did not seem to matter as the goblins were attracted nonetheless and they yelled in glee screaming as they chased after him.
After running farther away from the goblin camp Adrian panted in exhaustion before he signaled the Verdant Wolves to begin capturing the goblins.
Howls sounded out as green blurs flashed striking towards the goblins chasing after Adrian, the goblins startled and one of them even managed to react in time turning towards one of his attackers and striking with its knife.
A yelp was heard from the Verdant Wolf as it was stabbed, one of its brethren quickly helping to surround the lone goblin who was still standing up. The remaining four goblins were struggling on the floor trying to knock off their attackers that were on top of them.
Adrian came up to one of the goblins that was struggling on the floor and used his spear for leverage and placed it on top of the goblins throat before beginning to choke him out while he was struggling on the floor.
The remaining verdant wolf also helped one of its counterparts as they began to detain one of the goblins on the floor that was holding a spear.
The goblin still standing looked around at its struggling brethren and shrieked as it lunged at one of the Verdant Wolves circling it, the Verdant Wolf dodged the stab aimed towards its ribs as it snapped towards the goblins shoulder.
The goblin seeing this move tried to dodge, but the idiot dodged in the wrong direction and the wolf's jaw snapped on its neck swiftly ending its life. The wolf paused for a moment as it was dumbfounded at the stupidity before releasing the lifeless body and helping its brothers to detain the goblins.
After a struggle the remaining four goblins were captured with no more hiccups and were slowly dragged back towards the dungeon.
After arriving the four goblins were thrown onto the dungeon floor, their weapons already taken, and Adrian yelled "Submit to me or you will die!"
"As you can see I will treat you well if you submit!" he pointed to the two goblins who were eating a rabbit in the corner, (he had made them stop working in order to put up a show).
Signaling with his eyes the first goblin tried to warn them, but sadly his brothers and sisters did not know telepathy.
Seeing the two goblins eating food without being harmed, the four goblins surrendered to Adrian making his total goblin count triple. He fed the goblin corpse and weapons he had collected to the dungeon gaining a bit of DP making him even happier.
Sadly though, this DP will be gone because he purchased two more pickaxes and two more shovels handing it to the goblins costing him 50 DP, each set was 25 DP.
"Your brothers will tell you where to start digging, I will be back with more labor *cough* I mean I will be back with your brothers." Adrian said before he signaled the Verdant Wolves to follow him.
He left the injured one back and brought one of the wolves that had been guarding the dungeon core. He was not worried about the goblins breaking the dungeon core or the Goblins betraying him because from what the dungeon core said that was impossible.
He returned to the goblin village and began to spy on them again through the treeline.
The goblins were going about their day not even noticing that some of their camp had gone missing, Adrian was not surprised though because these goblins were as dumb as a rock. He was glad that there was no Goblin Chieftain in this group of goblins because if there was he was not confident he and his Verdant Wolves would be able to take out the camp.
He watched as two goblins who had rocks in their hands would toss one at a goblin who was sitting down drawing in the dirt before giggling and turning away. The goblin who got hit would stand up in anger and look in circles trying to find what had hurt it before sitting back down when it had not found the perpetrator, going back to drawing circles.
Adrian watched as this happened 5 times before he facepalmed at the sheer stupidity of this race. At this point he saw that another party of goblins was leaving the camp, this time there were six so it was going to be slightly harder, but he was not worried.
Over and over Adrian and his wolves slowly captured and brought back the goblins from the camp before none were left in the camp. The last time he returned from the camp he made sure to destroy the shacks that they had built in order to prevent any new occupants from moving inside of them.
Through the entirety of these events Adrian had managed to capture eighteen goblins, only five had died throughout their attempts at capturing them and Adrian considered this a huge success. He now had free labor- erm, he now had new inhabitants of his dungeon.
