After the talk with Dad at his company, I was sent home with one of his personal bodyguards. On the way home, I kept on thinking about what Dad told me. I think his reason for dragging me to his office was not to tell me about the room, but for me to know more about Charlotte.
Here I was thinking Charlotte sacrificed her dreams just to work in the company,and I am been told something else entirely. I am already dreading my talk with Charlotte because if what Dad told me is true, everything I rely on based on that fact will just crumble down.
"Arg." I groaned, both my hands on my face. 'I will just have to wait and see.' I thought , my face still buried in my hands.
"Miss...we are here." Baron, Dads bodyguard said looking at me through the rearview mirror.
I snapped out of my thought. "Oh...Thank you." I said and got down from the car.
"Carly!" Freddi yelled running towards me.
"Hey kiddo." I said. "What are you doing awake?"
