"Ummm what just happened" Tom said rubbing his head as he stood up only to see Ania glaring at him "BAKA" she roared throwing a pencil that lay nearby using her semblance so it flew smacking him square on the temple. "What's with all the abuse?" "Honestly man…" Mitch even chimed in as they all walked off leaving Tom rubbing his head in confusion at what just unfolded.
After everyone was changed into their PE gear they assembled inside the gym as Miss Aiho addressed everyone "So for today's lesson I'm giving you free roam of the gym pick whatever machine you want to use and go nuts". "Wohooo off to the bench press I go!" Mitch raced off before anyone claimed it as Ania went for the treadmill "Hmm I might utilise the dumb bells want to train with me?" Tom asked Alan who snapped out of his day dream trance "Huh yeah sure why not" he flashed his award winning friendly smile and followed behind.
"Sooo what exactly happened between Sky and you back in the classroom, I was lost in my thoughts but even I heard her screaming and then saw that burst of wind knock you back?" Alan asked as Tom shrugged his shoulders "I was merely pointing out how futile it would be for me to carry her in a running race due to her wind semblance making travelling more efficient and then compared her weight to Ania's saying also her heaviness would factor in as well" "…..ah there we go" Alan mumbled.
"What do you mean did I do something wrong?" "I suppose this is more Ania's department but normally girls don't like being told they're heavy" "Even if the fact is true?" "Especially if it's true" "Women become more complex to me by the day…" Tom mumbled as Alan patted his back "Welcome to the club".
Meanwhile across the room Mitch was happily using the bench press as suddenly a face leaned over staring down at him "Wow you're really going at it" Yang said grinning as she noticed he was suddenly struggling to lift the bar bell "Awww come on you can't find this hard" she said "Distraction…" was all Mitch said as he was aware of the fact Yang's chest was hovering above him as he blushed for a split second and pushed the bar bell up before jumping up. "You know for a really dark and brooding guy you're actually kind of cute and innocent at times" she said laughing "Shut up…." "HEY ANIA DO YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT MITCH!" she yelled racing over "WAIT TELL HER NOTHING" Mitch roared but realized it was all to futile.
Dropping the bar bell onto the rack he raced across the room to find Yang standing next to Ania on the treadmill happily chatting away while both were smiling. "Wait…." He went to say but realized it was far to late as Ania looked across at him "Huh interesting fact I'll have to keep that in mind" a playful smile spread across her face as Mitch sighed "This doesn't bode well for me in the future". "Well before anything bad happens I'm going to the bench press" "I'll spot you" Yang went to call out as he frantically turned back around recalling what happened earlier "It's fine, it's fine!" "See" she whispered to Ania.
"So you're saying I should apologise to Sky for what I said?" Tom dropped down the weights he was lifting done with his set as Alan nodded his head "I may not be the expert on women but I think Ania would agree". Looking around the room he spotted her at a boxing bag frantically punching away "Wow you're really getting into that bag" he called out behind her as Sky pretended like she didn't hear his voice and increased the power she was hitting with. "Ummm so apparently I may have said something earlier that would have hurt your feelings and so for that I'm sorry I didn't know such words like that could hurt someone".
She stopped hitting for a second and turned to face him "You really mean it?" "I do I wouldn't want to hurt someone that I'm friends with" "Thank you Tom that means a lot" her usual happy cheery smile returned as she turned back to punching back hitting it with less venom and more playfulness now. "That was surprisingly easy" Tom thought to himself and turned to walk away happy that he had accomplished the task given to him by Alan-sensei "Next I'll have to tell Ania" he recalled her outburst earlier and thought perhaps he should apologize to her, he didn't know what for but it seemed to calm women down when they get angry at you.
"Ahhh man I just love feeling the burn after you work out" Mitch stretched out his arms as Ania groaned "I hate feeling this pain it means it'll be ten times worse tomorrow" "That's what so great about it!" "Are you a masochist by chance?" Tom filed in next to them as Ania saw him and simply glared as he realized now was his chance "Ania I'm sorry for what I did earlier" "Why are you apologizing to me you said those words to Sky?" "Oh well ermm I apologized to her and it made her happy so I thought it would work on you as well" she simply face palmed before sighing "It's good you apologized and made up with her but just remember girls are sensitive on certain topics and you can't just bluntly say them" "Even if they're true?" "Especially if they're true".
"Does this apply to guys as well?" Tom turned to Mitch "Yeah don't you dare call me heavy or I'll simply die" he said in his best attempt at a females voice "Oh right duly noted" "That was that thing called sarcasm, man you really need to learn how to detect that". "So what is team ATAM doing on our days off" Alan's voice came out of nowhere as he materialised next to them "How long have you been there?" "Long enough for you guys to have noticed tsk, tsk" "Well I was planning to relax" "Do my homework" "Probably work out and train" "Actually I have something else we could all do together" "And that is?" "I was speaking to Ruby on the way back and her team is heading down to the Vale to take a look around while preparations for the Vytal Festival happen. So I was thinking we could go down there and take a little tour around".
Mitch shrugged his shoulders "Sure why not I'm all for looking around a huge city and they might have some good food" "It'll be interesting to get an advanced insight into the makings of the Festival" Tom commented "Guess it's better than just laying in my bed all day" "Yay our first special outing as a team!" Alan fist pumped the air as Mitch sighed "Don't make it sound weird man" "Ahh is this those things they call dates!" Tom raised a finger in the air like he had just found the answer as Mitch glared at him " I SAID DON'T MAKE IT WEIRD!"
