Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

Local Headlines:

'Earlier that day, a boy strangled two men, while racing their bike to bully him. That boy plucked an eye off one's face and vigoursely stabbed the other on his chest. He wore gloves, the handprints weren't recognised.

But with a good fortune, they both pulled through. Physiologically immature boy tried killing but survival makes him not accused to criminal offense.  His father pleaded in court for not guilty. Having said that, he shouldn't be penalised under juvenile law court.

It was in self defence. On 2nd October, 2021, the sentence will be heard in accordance to juvenile justice. Keep watching'.

He switched off the TV and found me dozing by the fire, on the couch. I needed the rest after some feverish activities. Well though, I heard the headlines, but still was drowsing.

He leaped out brandishing a rod.  Although, I slight wished to sleep more, I was roused.

Well, for one-thousand millionth of a second, I thought, he would kill me with it but for the heaven's sake, he made his way toward the fireplace.

I prided myself on being unflappable and nonplussed, avoiding to act emotional.

"Uh-hi, can I get my phone back, I promise to not dial 100, I swear", I mumbled something.

"So, you wanna call your mother to articulate your emotions and feel light-hearted", he put across his response.

"Yeah, maybe", I reached out for some direct helps.

"Genius. There's no difference between you and my parrot, irritating but caged", he came out with rude response.

"Hey, watch your mouth, and FYI, I don't wanna go back to her anyways", I wept.

He fiddled with his phone, and threw it in the fire. Guess you understand why he's called P-S-Y-C-H-O-P-A-T-H.

"Do you wanna know why you're here", he asked with a sneer.

"there is no need at this stage to give explicit details" I answered.

He cuffed my hands and went to his soothed bedroom putting off the lights. I had a long observance but seemingly in an honest view, it helped nothing. In much darkness, everything seemed to be in a grip of suspensive nightmarish.
