"Here is your room dear guest, please ring the bell that's within the room if you need anything from us and if you want to and simply press the button on your couches if you desire to bid." A butler gestured towards a door that had the number seven written on it.
The butler bowed once more and left, going back to the lobby to guide other VIP guest to their specified rooms
"We shall stay here young master" Bennet said with a slight bow
Theo nodded.
Bennet, Elsa and a maid servant of Violet stayed outside of their VIP room on standby.
Theo opened the door of the VIP room and entered the VIP room, followed by Selene and violet.
Pretty neat room, it's a standard for a VIP room.
Selene and Theo glanced around the luxurious room and took a seat, not amazed by its quality whatsoever.
As Prince and Princess of their respective country it was only obvious that most luxurious architecture or furnishings wasn't that impressive to them, especially when they come from the strongest nations in the world where money is also an important asset to have to be a strong nation.
Violet, a duke's daughter was also nothing to scoff at. Her family was the literal bank of the nation of Vitoten so seeing luxurious things was as natural as breathing.
There were three comfortable couches lined up in a semi circle facing the stage beside each other overlooking the venue that looked like an opera house. There were also some random furniture that looked fancy but the three were not even impressed by it.
Hundreds of rich visitors were currently just entering the venue, going to their designated seats.
There were also other VIP members who all had a high view above the normal members of the Auction.
Selene and Theo sat across from each other and Violet sat in the center. Theo suggested this to have Violet learn more about Violet and clear all the lies Selene has been implanting on Violet's brain.
"Lady Violet, while we wait for the auction to start, I wanted to ask you a few questions, if you personally don't mind"
"Of course, I'll gladly answer anything that's within the realm of possibility, Your highness Theodore."
"Hahaha, I implore you to call me Theo if you don't mind, but if that's too uncomfortable for you then you can just freely call me Sir Theo. I prefer it that way and calling me 'Your Highness Theodore' is a little too long don't you think? I'm also kind of a knight anyway, so it's fine to call me by that title."
Violet, again, was taken back, once more.
His higness is similar to Selene. He doesn't like flaunting his title and wants everyone to be more at ease, but he definitely is less aggressive than Selene was.
Violet smiled and nodded to Theo's request
"Then I shall call you, Sir Theo from now on. You're also welcome to call me Violet, like Selene. A friend of my friend is also my friend"
Theo smiled pleasantly at Violet's reply.
She's pretty, comparable to a lot of the main cast of the game but-
Theo glanced back at Selene, who tilted her head in confusion, wondering why he glanced at her for a brief second while conversing with Violet, dressed in her typical black dress and long black evening gloves.
- no one can definitely beat Selene's beauty. Though, saying to her face would probably inflate her ego again, so I'd rather not do that.
"Violet it is then, I hope we can get along in the future and take care of Selene as well, she can be lonely at times, so keep her company" Theo said with a slight smirk on his face.
Violet smiled hearing Theo's remark.
"Of course, I am delighted to get along as well and it is most obvious that I shall take care one of my sweetest best friend in times of need when she's lonely, leave it to me"
Selene, hearing the exchange between Theo and Violet, turned red in embarrassment.
Selene
Violet noticed that two of her companions were once more gazing at each other intensely, but Selene, this time was flustered, because of her and Theo's comments from earlier.
Huhuhu, she badmouths Sir Theo a lot but all the good qualities she did mention about him was true.
One of the things that Selene mentioned about Theo was that he didn't care much about flaunting his status as much in a personal setting, which his actions proved just a minute ago in their exchange. Another one was how he liked to try and make people he talks to more comfortable, which he did by suggesting Violet to be less formal with him.
And of course there were some things that Selene said that were straight wrong or contradicted the compliments and bad qualities of Theo.
However, it is true that he seems like a person that loves to tease on Selene a lot. She said bully but this just looks to me as banter and borderline flirting.
In all honesty, Violet was a little bit jealous of Theo, despite only officially meeting for one month two years ago, they were far closer to each other than Violet was to Selene, despite knowing her for over a year now.
Violet felt that Theo was on the tenth floor already and her progress was half of what Theo made.
Violet could feel that both of the people in front of her were freely exchanging their thoughts about each other without holding back and showing their true selves to each other easily, without hesitation.
It was like her and her two childhood friends, so she understood the intricate relationship Selene and Theo had as she watched their exchange.
They definitely have some kind of artifact to communicate telepathically.
Violet noticed that they were staring at each other and their bodies tensing from time to time as if reacting to something.
It was easy to guess that it was the case. Violet knew many kinds of telepathic artifacts that she'd seen before and has experience using one as well, though most of them are expensive and an expert tier mage class could easily cast it if they had the Mind attribute which was exceedingly rare.
There were other methods than the latter specified methods to bypass this. but Violet was not a person that fully understood the mechanics and system behind the magic of telepathy.
I'm jealous, I also want a telepathic artifact with Selene.
Violet slightly frowned and sighed.
She figured that she should stop going into their grandiose telepathic debate
Clap!*
""Ah"" Both Selene and Theo said in unison.
"Alright, telepathic conversation is over. I hope to learn more about Sir Theo, so please keep your telepathic conversations for later"
<
Sigh, I keep acting repulsively when Selene's around. We really need to stop arguing in public.
"Sorry, Violet. We didn't mean to leave you out in our conversation" Theo said with a genuine apologetic voice
"Same, I'm so sorry Violet, I promise to avoid this in from now on" Selene said with a downcast voice
Violet shook her head.
"It's fine, I understand that both of you don't want to leave a bad impression on me, but remember I am a person who keeps secrets well, especially when it's from a dear friend of mine."
Violet said, placing her left hand on her right chest as if swearing an oath to her previous statement.
It's not like our telepathic ability is worth hiding to someone that's close. I don't see any demerit to this.
Theo and Selene nodded to each other, agreeing on telling Violet a half of the story on how they got their telepathic skill.
"We'll tell you how we got a telepathic skill"
Wait a skill?????
Violet was confused, hearing this. She believed that they were using an artifact, but a skill? There are ways to get a skill. One is if you're born with one, two is if your bloodline allows you to pass down your skill, third is from your class and depending on someone's class, they could have multiple unique skills at once and finally dungeons, which is exceedingly rare to receive as a reward.
The only option they could possibly have done is....
"-Conquering a Dungeon" Violet blurted out in conclusion
Theo, hearing Violet's answer, nodded.
"As expected, you guessed well, Violet we got it from a dungeon"
