"Please take it easy on me Sir Theo.'' Selene said with a mischievous smile.
"Of course" Theo replied, clearly sarcastic
Said Theo and Selene as they took their stance in the middle of the large training hall, which was the size of five tennis courts glued together side by side.

"Eh?"
"Oops, apologise, my hand slipped" Selene smiled innocently with her hand outstretched towards Theo.
Slipped my foot!!
".... It's fine" Theo mustered as he tried to hold on to his stiff smile to fool the spectators. Selene "accidentally" almost hit Theo's cheek with a black fireball, which usually turns any normal organic matter into ash. Selene's action, of course, took every living cell in Theo's body to prevent himself from spouting out profanities at the young lady.
"Lady Selene, Please be careful with your spells. It is unbecoming and unhonorable in a duel, even if it's a spar" Elsa sternly said.
Elsa started to wonder how her mistress suddenly became so brazen and confident about herself. The Selene she knew was meek, quiet, and graceful. Now? She was courageous, fierce and explosive. She was worried if there was something wrong with her highness, but as someone who saw Selene grow up, she wanted to trust the current Selene that was in front of her.
'It was better for her to be like this than depressed most of the time like before' is what Elsa concluded.
"Sorry, It was a slip up, but I believe Sir Theo with his immeasurable kindness would forgive me" said Selene in a cutesy and a clearly annoying voice that pricked Theo's ears
"Hahahaha, Of course, how can I not forgive someone as clumsy as you. Not all of us at a young age can use and control spells as good as me. I can definitely give you my insight to get better than you are now lady Selene-"
"Fire Arrow"
Theo's dialogue got cut short, because three black projectiles were heading his way. Theo mustered all the strength in his body to jump to the side.
Boom!!! Boom!!! Boom!!!*
Three resounding blasts echoed in the training hall.
"Rather impatient, Lady Selene"
"Apologies, Sir Theo, it has been a while since I've fought someone, so I forgot to hold back" said Selene with a cunning smile.
"If that's how your playing!" Theo sprang forward with inhuman strength, trying to close the gap from Selene as much as possible
"As if I'm letting you get closer" Selene said under her breath, not enough for other people to hear her
"Come out Cookie! I choose you!"
A black magic circle shone in front of Selene, summoning a black skeletal wolf.

Cookie, the first undead Selene raised at the age of ten. Cookie was gifted to her by her mother at the age of two, but eventually died when she turned ten. Selene, who recently awakened her class, revived Cookie into her first undead partner, tying both for eternity.
The wolf howled and charged at the sprinting Theo.
"This is why necromancers are the worst!"
Theo dodged the incoming claw of the undead wolf and repositioned himself to a kicking position for a counter-attack, only to sense something flying towards him.
"Shi-"
Boom!
Theo had to dive away just to avoid another Fire Arrow from hitting him. Cookie didn't let this chance go and lunged at Theo again.
She also studied an extensive amount of martial arts in her past life.
The fight became a cat and mouse chase with Theo mustering as much of his strength just to avoid getting burnt to a crisp and clawed by Cookie.
Though, It seemed that Theo was being cornered from the eyes of others, he was actually winning by a mile if the current situation kept going.
Selene was starting to feel the effects of her debuffs even though five minutes have only passed.
"Hah.... Hah.... Hurry up and fall...."
"I can do this all day" Theo grinned, as he was just focused on dodging the fire arrows and Cookie.
This fight would have easily been over if Theo was allowed to use his mana, which shows how weak Selene really was with all the debuffs she's bound by.
If Selene wanted to win she had to take the initiative and finish the match as soon as possible.
"Fire Arrow!" Selene shouted with bated breath
"That's not working Selene" said Theo, visibly disappointed at her futile attempt.
Boom!
But was surprised, the fire arrow didn't explode normally, but Exploded into a black smog that covered most of the training hall.
"What!?... cough cough Black Smog!?" Theo exclaimed as he tried to wave away the smoke that invaded his nostrils.
Selene fired off a fake fire arrow and was instead a magical arrow that contained the magical effects of Black Smog. Mages would be baffled as the amount of magical control needed for such a feat was far beyond what any normal person could do. She basically created a completely new spell to her liking.
A sign of Selene's genius was displayed at that very moment.
ROAR!
"Woah" Theo was about to dodge but something unexpected happened
Rattle*
Cookie fell apart and was unsummoned! Theo had to smack away all the bones that flew towards him, cutting off most of his field of view.
Whooosh!!!!
A green flash shone amidst the smog and shadowy figure approached the unguarded Theo from the side.
"GOT YOU!" Selene said while conjuring potent dark mana on her right fist.
"Oh Cra-!" Theo's negligence and underestimation was about to get hit right on his abdomen
"DARK IMPACT!!!" Selene didn't let Theo speak and swung her right fist with everything she got.

SHATTER!!!!!
A loud shattering noise came after the powerful clash
The smog dissipates and two figures appear.
One was Theo who was unharmed and visibly shocked
And the other was Selene who was on the ground sweating bullets and in pain, but had the largest grin on her face.
"I..... Hah.... Hah Won..... You... Mana" Selene said before fainting on the spot
Theo caught her before she fell to the ground, while plastering a wry smile of defeat on his face.
"You never fail to surprise me with your comebacks."
Selene indeed won. The shattering noise was the result of Theo using Light shield, which resulted in him using mana, meaning defeat.
If Theo stopped playing around he would've been more aware and prepared himself with any trick Selene would usually throw at him, like in the pvp matches they usually did back in the game.
But here he was played to a fiddle.
"Lady Selene!" Elsa horrified sprang towards Theo and Selene
Bennet on the other hand was shocked as this was the first time he had seen his young master get outmaneuvered by someone his own age. Bennet saw the young master would usually see through any plans his opponents were about to bring up, with the exception of those older and more experienced than him.
"Lady Selene might be the perfect fit for our young master" Bennet said warmly as he also followed suit on going to his master.
