They were still there waiting for her servants to bring Iris here safely. In return, Dave had promised her that he would return the Demon Wolf Bident to her.
Using that Bident gave him a small taste of immense power. If not for the mysterious item consuming his [ Invisible Barrier] skill and selecting a new skill then he wouldn't have even survived.
" He is strong, maybe, I don't know because I have never seen him fight. The reason why I work for him is that I didn't have the option to choose when I met him." He answered.
"...Then, If I give you the option to become my servant then what would you choose. I would even allow you to use that Bident, in return help me kill him." She asked.
"..." Dave didn't know how to respond so he maintained silence for a few moments and then spoke, " Oscar told me that he didn't kill your brother and it's just a misunderstanding. While I don't hesitate to kill someone if it's for my benefit, I don't like killing people without a reason. He is one of the few who had helped me survive."
"...I Saw Him Kill My Brother! That Bastard Is Still Denying That He Didn't Do That!" She screamed, Dave could sense both anger and sadness in her voice.
' Did he lie to me?' He wondered, because if Shiloh was the eyewitness then how could she have misunderstood? Then again it also depends on the situation, anything can be possible.
After waiting for a few hours, a carriage arrived at the scene and Iris came out of it. She saw the devastation caused by the fight between them, and she quickly ran toward him and grabbed his arm.
" Your fingers..." Dave noticed her finger, they were bandaged.
"...It's nothing, Thank you for saving me." She spoke as she hid her hands behind her back.
" I am glad you are alright, and I am sorry that because of my actions you had to suffer." He apologized.
" It was scary but It's alright, you saved me..." She smiled gently and grabbed his hand.
" By the way, who is your father?" He asked because he almost tried not to do anything about her. After all, Oscar told him that she would be fine anyway.
" My father–" Before she was able to answer, Shiloh got up and grabbed the Bident, and spoke.
" I will take this, in return I promise to never harm the employees of your guild. I have realized now that it was not the right method, The one I need to kill is Oscar only."

Dave selected Yes and the item's ownership shifted to Shiloh who stored it inside her system.
" I will take my leave but tell Oscar that I will kill him one day." She spoke before she went inside the carriage.
' Just go already!' Dave thought.
He wondered if Oscar was strong enough to fight her, now that she had the bident as well. He had neither asked Oscar what was his level nor had ever seen him fight.
' My base stats are at 10 once again but it should be fine with my new skill...I hope I didn't look as ugly as Conan when he transforms.' Dave thought.

Two days after the fight between Dave and Shiloh, John finally reached her mansion. Fortunately, he found Shiloh in her mansion and didn't have to go looking for her anywhere else in Luxor town. John was sitting while still wearing armor but not the helmet, his head and face had no hair and he looked quite younger in a funny way despite being as old as Shiloh.
" Sorry to have kept you waiting John, But I think I already know why you have come here," Shiloh said as she took the seat in front of John.
"...You know, then that's better. Release Edith's daughter!" John spoke.
" I already have released her." She replied.
" Good to know that you are still the Shiloh I knew...So how are you doing nowadays?" He asked to change the topic of the conversation.
" Aren't you going to interrogate me?" She asked.
" You are a very dear friend of mine, someone that I respect," John spoke.
" Thank you John for saying that, I am doing fine nowadays." She answered. " How about you?"
" I am fine as well, The Duke is also doing well. You will not believe me but he almost wet his pants when he heard that there might be a conflict between you and sir Edith. I mean that would have caused so much damage to the town." John laughed while sliding his hands over his bald head.
" I did fight someone equally strong, however, it was not Edith..." Shiloh spoke making John's face darken all of a sudden.
" You fought someone...Did You Kill Someone?" He asked. " I hope you didn't...Hehe"
The sweat was visibly rolling down her forehead while he was asking that because he hoped that she hadn't killed anyone. If she did, people will stop believing in the security guards in the city who must stop casualties because of a conflict.
" I lost, He was way stronger than me. She admitted.
"..." It took a moment for John to process what Shiloh had said, ' She said she...lost?' He processed the information in his head.
" Who- Who is capable of defeating you? What is his level?" He asked, " What do you mean by ' Way stronger than you', is that true?"
John panicked after finding out this information, but what surprised him the most was the information that he got after that.
" I don't know much about him. His level may not be high, but he is strong, at least stronger than me. Because I used the Abyssal armor of my family and I still lost."
' She lost even with the Abyssal armor, I need to see for myself.' He thought.
