It was in the middle of the night a girl was being chased by a pack of angry wolves in the deepest part of the forest,she comes to a halt when she sees that she is surrounded a big grey wolf with a scar on its right eye came from behind some wolves and when it was about to jump on her an equally big wolf with white fur came in between her and the wolf.A fight broke out between the two wolves she stealthily walked away and ran as fast as she could in the rain when she tripped on a branch and fell. She felt someones shadow over her she turned around stunned to see the grey wolf with blood all over its body.She started to move backwards slowly.The wolf raised its paw read to attack when a bright ray of blinding lights stinged her eyes.

"XERIS!you...you are awake.I was so scared that i had lost you."a woman said worriedly.

"Mom...how did i get here?And why are there so many machines around me?"Xeris asked as she tried to sit up.

"Well you succumbed some minor injuries during the accident you had a earlier today"the doctor said putting down some charts.

"My advice to you Mrs.Black is that you should book your daughter a vacation trip far from the city.Losing loved ones in one year is not easy to cope with."the doctor said leaving the room.Xeris and her mother were left in the room.There was an awkward silence for what seemed like forever.

"Darling...i think its high time we start listening to the doctor i will book you a vacation for a month and half.I know you..."before she could finish her sentence Xeris cut her off.

"I here the other side of the city is magical this time of year and there i can explore.Dad and i always wanted to go there but never got a chance."Xeris said a little sad.

"I miss him to darling but he is now up there watching over his beautiful moon gem."Ava said hugging her only daughter.

"I love you mom but do me a favor never call me a moon gem again"Xeris said pulling away from the hug.

"Alright...moon gem" with that the two broke out into laughter. A couple days passed with Xeris in the hospital.Every night she always had the same nightmare and it started to haunt her in the day each time she looked outside the the hospital window she would see the grey wolf staring at her.It was as if it was waiting for her to go outside...it was waiting to hunt her down.

Early the next day Xeris was discharged.On their way back to the mansion Xeris saw the grey wolf following her behind.She always said that it was her imagination playing tricks on her.Xeris didn't know what was in store for her,all these dreams kept coming to her in the day.She had already booked a cottage for her to stay for a couple of weeks.She found her things already packed.

"Its hard for me to let my only surviving child to travel but i am trying hard to overcome the huge loss in this family."Ava said with teary eyes.

"Mom chill out i know its hard but its life.Special people come and go you lose someone you love and the universe somehow brings another one,i miss dad and every one else but we have to move on...and besides death could never come near me for i am far much stronger than death."Xeris said posing like a hero ready to swing into action.

The next day Xeris was on her way to the cottage when she saw the white wolf that was in her dreams...or more like nightmare.After a few hours she arrived at the cottage.Her driver helped her move some of her things inside.

"Listen i want you to be careful during this holiday remember you are the last person who is close to your mother if anything were to happen to you your mother would lose it."her driver said

"Wow! nice pep talk. Incase you couldn't tell i was being sarcastic...but thanks"
