Chapter 16 - End Of Trial (2)

It had already been 20 minutes since Prajwal started running. He hadn't stopped yet. After learning about the mosterous people at the end of endurance trial, he had made up his mind to grab the opportunity of doubling the rewards by passing all the trials. He was sure that not many people had participated in all the trials, only about thousand. He was far off mark, only 20 people had participated in all the trials. Prajwal was intelligent but he didn't know the true nature of humans. Though talented, he was just a naive youth. Humans were opportunist but at the same time were coward. Majority of people in the world showed outer strenght but when the real situation arise, they were coward enough to distance away from the situation. Though about a billion people had courage to participate in the trial either to protect themselves and their loved one or to change their situation in this new world, very few had courage to go all in. One can know that as only 20 people participated in all the trials. Was it courage or desperation? Either one may be the reason, atleast they had guts to go all in. Among them 5 died on the very second trial as they had to face monster five times their strenght continuously with just 5 minutes break in-between. For others, trial was about thrice their level but for those who selected all the trials, it was about 6 times.

"Wait....All the mosters I faced in previous two trial had about 6 times my attribute of that category, combined for both monkeys as they just had thrice my stength. Then this trial should also be six times my limit denoted by the status. My stamina is 9, then I have to devour 6 times my stamina if we go by difficulty sense. That leads to loosing 54 points. No, that can't be possible. I consumed 6 points of stamina within 10 minutes, if i go by this formula then I have to run for 90 minutes continuously at the same pace I was running. Is that possible? Now that I think about it, running for one and half hour was common in marathon previously. Then I have to run for 70 more minutes to feel like I'm in safe zone." Prajwal was thinking and formulating the plan. Before he began planning he had been counting each second and that was the reason he knew that he ran for 20 minutes. "I don't think that it's convinent for me to keep counting all the way to 90 minutes. Hey system, do you have stopwatch function?" Prajwal asked as he knew system could understand him as he had his query answered previously. *Yes. Do you want to set the timer? If so, go to multi tools accessing bar and do so.*

"There was this function as well. I have to research all the functions after all the trials are completed and I return, as I'm sure that after the trial is over I won't have any time due to all the exhaustion." Prajwal opened muti tool bar and accessed the clock symbol and set the timer for after 50 minutes to motivate himself in the middle of the race to prevent himself from loosing hope at the end of race and then another timer at 70 minutes and started the clock. As soon as the timer started, he had his entire focus on running. This went on for minutes but for the person running it felt like hours had passed. He was exhausted beyond the limit humanly possible but he was persistent and continued with the thought that the very next second will be the last second of the race. Finally his persistance was rewarded with the warning signal about passing of 70 minutes. His face brightened. He couldn't talk but said to himself within his mind that he was nearing the end. That motivated him and he continued on his run. He felt his muscle sore, he was having trouble pushing thorough and his stamina had long since bottomed out but he closed his eyes and continued to push through. What he didn't know was that in this run as his whole focus was on running, his body was being molded. This was the benefit of having high starting intelligence. When a person with high starting intelligence stat participates in the trial and passes all the trials, their body is molded sub-conciously through the passage of trials into a what ancient people called perfect body for war or fighting. Not only muscles, their body structure is changed at cellular level. This was one of the benefit the administrator talked of having high starting intelligence. But it was also possible for people whithout it to change, as in the end all participated in the same trial. Based on the difficulty they participate they will improve not only in stats but also body functioning but for taking maximum benefit out of it, they have to realize the change at cellular level conciously then only there would be change in body structure at that level else only some improvement will happen at muscular level. For special people with high intelligence stat the instructions for cellular change is given out sub-consciously but for normal people they have to do this step themselves which is far from possible. In the end it all depend to the level you could command the brain consciously.

Finally Prajwal was at the end of his stamina trial. With the passage of each second he was nearing the successful completion of trial. After what felt like hour, he was relieved from his struggle with the indication of end of 90 minutes but Prajwal didn't stop. He was already unconcious but his will was still driving his body towards the end. He sure had a powerful will. What had a teen faced to turn his will this strong? Only time could tell us. He ran for full 5 minutes after the completion of 90 minutes and then his body fell on the ground as running anymore was no longer possible. The stadium and track slowly disintegrated and tuned into the white room. As Prajwal was soundly sleeping on the floor, he was yet again surrounded by yellowish green hue. This time Prajwal recovered faster and woke up after 2 minutes. "Did I pass the trial?" This was the first question that came to his mind. He had just ran based upon his assumption and not the actual criteria for passing the trial. He checked the recent notifications.

*You have successfully passed the trial. You would be awarded 10 points in stamina at the end of the trial.*

Prajwal was filled with joy after seeing this as he knew that even if his estimation was right, he couldn't have actually consumed that much of stamina during the run. Nobody except the administrator knew that he had passed just due to the last 5 minute sprint. Had he just quit after 90 minutes, he would have failed the trial by small margin.

*Will you participate in the health trial? If so then continue onto the trial with in 00:02:45*

Prajwal prepared his mind for the next trial. After resting for 2 more minutes, he clicked on the start of trial. The room slowly disintegrated and turned dark, he couldn't see what was around him.
