Selena's POV
"How are you holding up, Selena?" Kevin asked after one hour of dancing on the floor; we were having a break at the moment, and I felt glad Laura was impressed with our performance tonight.
She didn't ask us to repeat from the top how many times we liked the last time. I am so grateful that Stanley chose the best dancers, and I couldn't believe Joe and Joan were great dancers too, and I wondered who taught them waltz.
"I am fine, Kevin; thank you for asking and being my dance partner," I replied.
"It is my pleasure to dance with you; Skyler called me and asked me to be your partner. I hope I didn't hurt Stanley's ego." He responded, and I shook my head.
"Of course not; we are good," I replied, and I am sure he knew what was going on between the three of us since he was Sky's best friend.
"That is good to know," he stated as he looked around, and I could tell he had been eyeing Joan since the beginning of practice.
