I could see the happiness on Selena's face as she watched her parent's reunion before us. It was very touching, and I knew she was trying her best to hold back her tears of happiness. I am happier knowing my girl's family is now complete.
My fiancee doesn't need to tell me how much she misses her mother. Selena never mentioned her longing to be with Salome, and she kept it to herself all these years. But I always knew there was a hole in her heart that only her mother could fill, and she needed her mother's love.
I felt glad Salome said yes right away after I invited her to come with us to Santa Clara. Everything was perfect, and I loved the way things turned out. I always wanted to be with Selena's family, and spending time with them warmed my heart.
