Selena's POV
I was still shivering as Neil drove away from the hotel. There were so many questions I wanted to ask him, but I kept quiet since I was still in a daze after I heard Skyler's powerful voice. I couldn't believe his voice alone would make me feel this weak.
I tried to compose myself by taking deep breaths, and when I started to feel better, I turned my head and looked at Neil. He was silent, too, and never looked at me even once.
"How on earth do you happen to know Justin?" I asked with a stern tone.
"Are you that popular that you hired that bastard?" I asked another question before he could answer me.
"My friend is his employer, Selena, and as far as I know, he wasn't a bad person." He responded, and my eyes widened in shock.
"Not a bad person? He was the leader of the group of men who kidnapped Gwen and me, Neil, and he almost hurt us." I responded, feeling frustrated with my friend.
