Selena's POV
"Are you going to lock us again?" Gwen asked Justin, and he only nodded his head.
"I couldn't believe you work for that bitch; she is crazy and manipulative," my sister added.
"I know, but she has the money that I needed," Justin responded, and my sister's face fell as she looked away from him.
I tossed the brown envelope into the bed the moment we got inside our room, our prison. Gwen was standing near the bed, looking at me with worry and tears in her eyes.
"I want to say sorry, Selena. I was stupid enough to fall into her trap," Gwen said, and I shook my head.
"It was okay, Gwen; what happened last night and today made me realize I was such a fool for loving Skyler. He was someone I could never have, and I should have stayed away and fought my feelings for him." I replied.
"I thought maybe, there is a happy ending for us," I replied.
