Selena's POV
Stanley's father meet us on the front porch of Stan's place and I was impressed with the beautiful architecture of my best friend's house.
"It felt so nice to see you again, Selena," Don Florencio said as he pulled me into his arms.
"It is nice to see you too, Uncle Florencio," I responded, and he grinned as he released me from his embrace.
"You turned into a beautiful woman, Selena; you are breathtaking; too bad my eldest son could no longer see how lovely you are." He declared as he loosened his tie; I could see the sadness on his face as he looked away from me. Stanley cleared his throat, and his father looked at him.
"Dad, the food is ready. Why don't we proceed to the dining hall?" He asked.
"Of course, Selena must be starving," he replied as he led the way, and Stan held my hand as we followed his dad.
