Selena's POV
"Selena, are you awake?" I heard Pam's voice outside my bedroom, and I didn't want to speak with anyone, but I came here for this job. I stood up from my bed and opened the door.
"Are you okay?" She asked, and I shook my head.
"No, I am not okay; I hated him so much, but why I could feel a hole in my heart after you told me he became blind," I responded and let out a soft sigh while a beautiful smile formed on her lips.
"Simply because you still care about him, and I know you lied to yourself when you said you weren't in love with him anymore. Don't lie to yourself, Selena; you can make lies to other people, but lying to yourself is the worst thing you could ever do in your life." She declared.
I wanted to oppose and tell her she was wrong, but I opted to keep it to myself; I didn't need to tell her what was on my mind.
