"Why didn't you tell me you have a girlfriend already, Stanley? " I asked after we sat side by side in our favorite place still inside their property. We were in the hills where we could see the beautiful sunrise over the horizon.
I used to love and appreciate this place, but after what happened between Skyler and me, it seemed like everything that I loved was no longer exciting.
"I am your best friend, and I am supposed to know about her since it is good news.." I added as I admired the beautiful scenery before as we watched the sun gradually rise on the horizon.
" I am sorry if I haven't told you about her. I really wish to introduce my girlfriend to you finally, but you were too hurt to listen to me. Whenever I tried to talk with you about Julia, you would be in your own bubble, feeling the pain of losing my brother." He responded, and I turned my head and looked at him with guilt all over my face.
