"Fuchsia, Fuchsia.. Fuchsia!"
"Huh?"
A woman with purple hair woke her child up.
"You're finally up! Must be quite the slumber queen, huh?", the woman teased her daughter.
"Mommy! How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that.", Fuchsia pouted.
"Oho..? Okay, my dear slumber queen~", her mom laughed.
"Hmph!"
"Anyways, guess what we're doing today?"
"Um.. are we going to the theme park?"
"No."
"School? Wait, why would school be on a Saturday?"
"No, I'll give you a hint then. The person we're meeting is your relative~"
"Oh wait! You talked about this last week! We're going to visit Uncle Leonardo, aren't we?"
"Yes!"
Vroo-vrooom!-
Both the mother and daughter sat in the taxis back-seat while on a bridge occupied with rows of cars.
"Wow! Mommy, look over there. Isn't that a sports car!"
"Yes, it is.", the mother returned a smile.
Fuchsia scouted out the surroundings, looking for something to tell her mom about.
"Hm?"
A dog-like animal with dark-red eyes and gray skin was spotted. It searched. Similar to herself.
'Wow, is that a wolf? I didn't know you can have them as pets.'
"Mom, look! Isn't that a Wolf!"
"Huh?"
Awoooo!-
Wolfs roared as the bridge collapsed with many screams. The girl turned to look for her mom but was only faced with a large group of men laughing while his mother's corpse was feasted on.
"M-mom..?"
Grrrraaa!-
The wolf pounced on the child but was stopped by a stronger force.
Slice!-
"Hey, protect the kid."
'A-a voice?'
'Whose there?'
Fuchsia turned to look back.
Drop!-
"Ah!", she jolted awake as sweat dripped down her face while her heart pounded faster than it ever did.
"Ah!", Archehon jumped back.
"Haaa.. don't scare me like that.", he complained.
"W-why am I here?"
"Well, when I removed your cloak and saw who you truly were, you ended up pushing me back and in the process, hit your head off a wall since you had no support."
"In other words, you fell unconscious after hitting your head.", Archehon gave a shorter response straight after.
Fuchsia suddenly remembered flashbacks of what happened before she passed out.
(AN: She will be called 'Fuchsia' when she is taking off her mask and when she has it on she will be called 'Xavier'. This mostly will happen when she is alone with Archehon or Leonardo)
Kyaaa!-
"U-uhhh.. aahhhh!", the girl fell and hit her head off the wall due to having no support.
"Ah- d-dammit. So embarrassing.", Fuchsia grabbed the blanket after remembering what happened.
"Forget that. I'm curious. Why would you have to hide your identity as a girl. Are there procedures for stuff like that.", Archehon asked while thinking of a cult that he once fought that had the oddest rules.
"...", Fuchsia stayed dead silent.
"Alright. I'll go now."
'How boring. It would've been cool to hear some tragic backstory, though I really wouldn't care.', he gave himself an honest reason not to be nosey.
"Click."
'Should I ask Leonardo? He might kill me, knowing his secret was leaked.'
"Kid, how are ya doing?"
'Speaking of the devil, here he is.'
Leonardo grinned as he looked down at the measly kid that was standing on the same floor as him.
"Hm..?"
"Did you find out who Xavier truly is?"
Flinch!-
'How the fuck did he know that? I'm confident in hiding my expressions. There shouldn't be a reason for him to-'
"So it's true then. Seeing how you're still holding a part of her cloak."
'Oh.'
"Yes, but may I ask why she hid her identity?", Archehon asked.
"Why? Well, let's just say that chaos will happen if people other than me or my closest subordinates know."
'So that's why. Since most of his army are thugs and have no respect towards women. They will most likely protest which will allow any other enemy to attack them while they're weak.'
"May I propose a deal?", Archehon changed the topic.
"Sure."
"May I get protection for my sister for the next few years?"
"Why would you need that?"
'Here goes nothing.'
"I'm planning to go to a hero academy, not for becoming a hero but for experience."
"Academy. Hmm.. Alright, I'm fine with that deal but, I'm only going to do that if you agree to this.", the Ruler showed his dominating authority with a sinister grin.
'Hm.. should I take the risk? This could endanger my life..'
"Alright. I agree."
"Then.."
'Here it comes.'
"Take my daughter to the academy with you and keep her identity hidden, of course.."
'Huh?'
Archehon was startled. No, overjoyed.
'This is better than I thought. It's just keeping her identity hidden while I'm in the academy.'
"But I will kill you if her identity is leaked."
"Okay, I'm fine with that."
"Then, Aldon."
The humongous giant subordinate kneeled in front of the Ruler.
"Yes, My Lord."
"Give both Fuchsia and Archehon their fake identities."
The loyal subordinate handed Archehon his card with the details,
'Name: Aldus White. Age: 15
Occupancy: None. '
"Thanks."
'It's a double-edged sword but Its not that huge of a risk.'
"Alright kid, I'm busy today, see ya."
"Bye.", Archehon waved.
* * *
The stars could be seen, dancing in the sky while a car waited at the top of a hill. In the posh vehicle was a driver wearing a suit, annoyed, tapping the wheel.
"How much longer will I have to wait? He's not going to make me stay here until the last few seconds of the night, is he?"
The driver increased the output on the number of times he tapped the wheel.
"Well, it's not like I got anything planned for today."
Step, step, step-
"I'm back.", Archehon talked to the driver outside the cars window.
'Ah- finally!'
"Please go in, sir."
"Yeah."
'Yes! I can go home-'
Archehon entered the door and uttered a few words that would ruin the drivers week,
"Oh- I have one more place to go."
'D-dammit.'
The already tired driver obeyed his command and drove the car towards the direction he was supposed to go.
"We're here, sir.", the driver said when they arrived in the even worse part of the slums.
"Wait here for another fifteen minutes.", Archehon raised his hands indicating the number.
"Click."
The familiar fiery aura he met with before was too busy hammering its way on the weapons.
"Hi, grandpa~"
The old man took off his goggles and replied,
"Hmph!"
"S-so, what do you want?", he struggled to wipe off the embarrassed expression.
"I do want a dagger~"
"I've got a pair of daggers right there. Use them to show me your style.", Vulcan pointed towards the weapon stand.
"Okay."
Archehon grabbed the daggers that were averagely sized.
"Hoooo..", he breathed in.
Slice-slice-slice!-
The boy slashed- right, left, up, down. Every single direction possible, was what it looked like to a beginner. But to the blacksmith, it was a treasure he would've never thought he'd have seen before.
'Th-that's..'
Every single slash was concise and perfect. It may have looked the same to an outsider but had hidden moves which were only visible to those who were part of the 'Lucifer' faction.
The amount of wind on each blow was different, the visualization of the colours that were supposed to be seen were all red, symbolizing the colour red.
'.. Red Dragon Arts!'
The old man shed a single tear down both his cheeks. Not out of sadness, but appreciation for what was being shown to him. Never did the old man ever think he would be able to see such a beautiful performance in his life.
Swish!-
'In the ancient era, there were many mythical beings who rises to the top of what we currently call, 'Beasts'. These creatures were Dragons who the human race worshipped as gods at the time.'
'There were four different Dragons who ultimately reigned the world of Aecona.'
'The Blue Dragon who ruled blue skies, oceans and rivers. The Green Dragon who ruled the lands filled with plants. The Red Dragon who ruled the volcanoes, fire and deserts.'
'But there was one last Dragon who wouldn't rule peacefully and that was the Black Dragon. What that Dragon did was rule over the dark and cause destruction, disrupting the peace all over the world.'
'Each Dragon ended up fighting in the darkest ever era and passed away. They left behind different valuables all over the world.'
'One of the valuables the Red Dragon left behind was a art that would allow Lucifer to exist. Who climbed up to be the fourth strongest in the world from just gaining the Red Dragon Art.'
'Lord Lucifer created an easier version which allowed everyone in our faction to use.'
'To think I'm able to even see the easier version of the Arts makes me think there's still hope that maybe there are other descendants of the faction who still live.'
Whoooosh!-
A large amount of wind flew near the fire, allowing it to roar more than it ever did.
Archehon finished using the dagger and swiped it back into the case with a serious face that erased all of his easygoing personality.
"Old man, what really happened to the faction? How is someone like you down in the slums?", he asked.
"Well, it has been over two hundred and twenty-five years since our Lord 'Lucifer' died. When he died, those cunning little fifths attacked us and won in the battle.", Vulcan opened his mouth, displaying his clenched teeth.
"Then, we were all forced to go into hiding while constantly running away from our enemies. We had to split up because we never knew when they would plot something."
"We managed to survive and ran away until sixty years ago. When one of the other remnants of the faction ended up working with the enemy and sold out over half of our crew."
"Many were caught and it was then my turn when a decade later when I was eleven, my parents were taken away while I managed to run away in time without them noticing."
"Dammit!", the old man punched the wall.
"We would've been fine if one of us didn't sell each other out."
"Old man, I will get revenge on the fifths.", Archehon lowered his eyebrows.
"Nah, don't. You're still too young. You'll die unless you train for another ten years."
"I know, grandpa~"
"Hmph! I know exactly what type of dagger to make. You need a dagger that's thicker, right?"
"Yes. You sure do know so much."
"Hehe, that's what a blacksmith's instincts are like.", Vulcan smiled.
"I'll go now~"
"See ya, kid."
