"What just happened?" Endore's wife asked as she looked at her family. She hoped someone would laugh and tell her this was all a joke. "Why aren't you saying or doing anything?!" She glared at her husband who stared back at her aggrieved.
"What do you have to say Salima?" Endore asked in a very low tone. He is trying his best to contain his emotions. To curb his anger. "Did the prince even tell you that he liked you? Has he ever for once spoken with you?! Did he truly promise his heart to you?!" Endore threw question after question to an already crying Salima. "Or was this truly just your delusion?" The last question had him breathing hard. He had been foolish... he had foolishly believed everything his daughter had told them, and he didn't even bother asking question to verify her claims. And now, he is paying with his whole life hard work; his family's dignity, he is paying with the name he nurtured for years!!!
