The great Russian Meth-Baby Alexi, the only winner of the Polar Hacking competition, was a baby of few words. The Siberian Polar Hacking Competition was based in Russia and was used not only to force hackers who were caught by the KGB to work for the Russian Government by advancing brain to computer interface technology, but also as a means of population control, both for the hackers, and for the polar bears which had begun ever increasingly becoming hostile and territorial towards the Russians. The yearly polar bear migration led to the deathsa of thousands across Russia as the bears looked for mates and food.
As he tells the story, he used a windows laptop from the 1980s to hack a polar bear's brain and used the polar bear as a mount until it's untimely death at the hands of a KGB higher-up. After back-flipping onto the bear's back, he used his hands to hold it's hair and used a single foot's toes to code the exploit targetting the KGB's BCI technology to gain control. In reality, the bears won. After using his laptop to knock the other hacker unconscious, he drew the bear's attention to it's new meal and ran. The bears were vicious that winter, and now they had tasted man-meat. After the first bear consumed the other hacker's corpse, it growled and brought the attention of the other bear to the KGB officers who were smoking and laughing about the odd circumstances regarding the untimely death of hacker #2.
The KGB officers didn't know what hit them. With one swipe of it's enormous paw, the bear tore skin from bone and sent one officer flying nearly five feet away, dead. The second bear, who was obviously much more lazy, proceeded to eat the dead officer while the other two officers frantically started screaming, reaching for their weapons, and running. The bear gave no consolation prizes, though the two officers did ALMOST get away. The bears were viscious that winter, and now that they had tasted human blood they wanted more. They were hungry.
Alexi ran until his legs gave out. Everyone but him was dead. He now had a semi-working 1980's laptop, and had been through schooling his whole life for one, and only one purpose. To be the best Siberian Polar Hacker that ever existed. He owed nothing to anyone; he simply did what he was taught to do. The right thing. He decided, at this exact moment, that he would hack ever BCI implanted polar bear; for the ones without implanted BCIs, he would rely on Matryoshka, his polar bear hating grandmother.
Though Alexi had never fired a gun before, Matryoshka had; he would rely on her greatly in the near future.
For now, he had his goal, and he knew how to achieve it. He headed to his grandmother's home on foot, ready for whatever the future brought his way.
