I stare at Mike, even though I know it is wrong to ask him for money, but I have no choice left. He is the only person who would be able to give me money without a question, and even if he does ask me anything, it won't be hard to convince him not to ask anything.
"Do you have money to lend me?" I ask Mike, and he looks at me confused but nods his head a little. I heave a sigh of relief. I need the money to help Kate, I can't let her experience any more abuse.
"Yes, I do," Mike replied, waiting for me to tell him how much, and that was exactly why I never asked him for money. He is always ready to lend me a hand whenever I want.
The reason behind it was not really hidden, and that made me feel, as if I was using him.
