Quinn was lying on her bed in a daze. She had just woken up from sleep and decided to lay down on her bed for a little while. She reminisced the dream she just had. In the dream, she saw her family when she had just been born. The current her was seventeen and had long golden blonde hair. She saw her Dad talking to her Mom about the rare phenomenon that had just occurred.
At the time of her birth, the rare phenomenon occurred. If one looked closely at the sky, one would see a faint blue and purple light in the sky which as history states, signifies the birth of an ethereal empress. It was unknown to her parents that as they were speaking to each other, her eyes glowed with a sapphire blue colour. The birds in the sky sang their respects till dusk.
As she stood in the dream, she felt like it had actually happened.What she didn't know was that her powers and identity had awakened as today was her eighteenth birthday.She felt very relaxed and as lazy as a cat.
She was also very excited about the surprise her parents and brothers were preparing for her party tonight.
She was still deep in thought when she heard her mother roar at her from the bottom of the staircase,
''Queenie, you'd better be down for breakfast in the next twenty minutes''.
Madam Isabella Dahlia, Quinn's biological mother was wondering what was wrong with her daughter today. She had overslept on her birthday and, of course, as her mother, she could understand that the young girl was very tired after coming back home late yesterday night.
After all, it was the weekend so she could wake up at any time but since today was going to be one the most special and memorable days of her life, she had to prepare her early for her party.
As she had these thoughts, Quinn moaned and rolled back and forth in her bed while complaining in her heart,
'Why has this woman suddenly become so annoying this morning but I still love her very much'. She got up quickly and rushed to the bathroom to shower when she realized that her Mom was coming up to check on her.
