Chapter 2 - The Society Council

In a room sitting on his rocking chair by the window looking down to a vast wasteland stood a mansion in Nevara Scrouche.

Scrouche very much looked like of human only he had four hands with seven fingers each. Standing at a decent height of seven feet tall and muscular no one could have guessed this old, very old man's age. He looked to be in his forties and wore a greyish robe with a hood that covered his nose hiding his bright green eyes and shoulder-length black hair. Only his wicked smile could be seen and his pale skin had no colour of its own.

Rocking back and forth he was waiting for Drupal, his house elf to return from delivering the letters to the members.

A few hours later a short man around three feet, could be seen hopping and walking up the great stairs that led to his master's study room Drupal. An elf that was faithful to his master and die while serving him.

Finally opening the wooden door Drupal could see his master sitting in his chair and lost in his thoughts. Drupal coughed to catch his master's attention and then taking his hat off showed his big perky ears that fluttered when he smiled to see his master. Taking out a comb Drupal pretended to comb the invisible hair on his shiny bald head and then with his ears coming to a stop walked to his master.

" Master, I sent out the letters to all the members . Hopefully the meeting will be on time and finally we will do what has to be done . Hailed is His name ".

" Hailed be His name. … Drupal I need you to go to the forbidden castle and protect it from any invaders. No one I repeat No one should be allowed in. Even if you see me only after confirming that it's me would you let me in? Understand !" Scrouche sounded a bit concerned. But Drupal knew the seriousness of the moment and clicked his fingers and apparated to the Forbidden Castle.

...

The Realm Castle belonged to no one only the elected members of the Society had permission to enter the holy grounds. As one could see from a distance the Castle was a grand one made of silver stones and had no other exceptional thing to be noticed. Only having one entrance which was heavily guarded the castle was considered a safe heaven. From afar seven figures could be seen in the distance walking on the white pathway leading to the great staircase which ended at a giant double slab door with all sorts of gems and stones studded that gave the doors an elegant yet simple appearance.

Seven hooded figures stood at the door and taking off their hoods gave the Durban their hoods and weapons. Next to the Durban stood a maiden with blue hair and dark skin holding a golden bowl in her right hand and a small yet sharp golden knife in her left. Once done with the process of taking off hoods the figures proceeded to make a small cut on the tip of their fingers and dropped their blood into the bowl, hence getting permission to enter the hallway to the throne room.

The throne room was as huge and magnificent as one would expect to see in dreams of heaven. White, well furnished with a single large table in the centre and eight chairs around it yet what stood out were the two thrones in the head of the room on a raised platform. Both the thrones were grand and seemed to emit powerful energy but one thing distinguished them from each other: Wings. Both the thrones had Wings at the back, one had large white and golden wings while the other had black and silver wings with a hint of red concentrated at the centre where the wings were attached to the throne.

...

The Chairs around the table had the names of each realm embedded and each representative or ruler of the realm was to take their place only. The eighth chair belonged to the head of the Society Council.

The first chair belonged to the Vampire: Cedric Farrow was their king. He was two thousand years old but looked to be a young adult, with pale skin, red eyes, black short hair, no outstanding features, long slender figure, the man stood at six and a half feet tall. He wore all-black clothing with a tailcoat and shiny black armour.

The second chair belonged to the Werewolves: Haden Marvin was their Royal Alpha. Two hundred years old, Haden looked to be in his fifties, big man he was, ten feet tall, bulky and full of hair, brown eyes with a touch of golden, bushy eyebrows, and ragged armour. Haden's look screamed of manly endeavours.

The third chair belonged to the witches: Tatiana Minerva was the queen of witches whose age was not guessed as no one knew how long had she lived, had no one seen her true face as she always wore a mask that only let one see her eyes, eyes only black without a hint looked frightening yet attractive, thin but curvy, she wore no armour but had a fan in her hand giving her a vicious look, covered in purple gloves and wore a purple straight gown.

The fourth chair belonged to the Hunters: Volvo was their Leader and often was called Guru. A sixty-year-old man, and tattoos all over his arms and even on his bald head could be seen. Wearing an eyepatch, he only had a cut-sleeve jacket and no armour to protect himself as they believed in training their skin to become their armour. Volvo was also named to have the skin of stone.

The fifth chair belonged to the Tree fairy: Franchesca was the queen of forest creatures and was herself a tree fairy. Looked to be a human, she could transform into a tree or even parts of her body. Green eyes, green hair and golden skin, she wore a dress that seemed to be made of leaves.

The sixth chair belonged to the Humans: Mary Michelle Vensco was the Queen of all Kingdoms and a true warrior wearing a nice heavy armour on her chest she had boots and gloves on. Curly hair was done into a braid she was a black beauty with skin rich in pigments and brown eyes that shone too bright. But with beauty, she was brains too.

The seventh chair belonged to the Celestials: Phineas was the king of Celestials, true beings that lived to maintain the balance in nature. Phineas looked heavenly, a different glow emitted from his body two small wings protruding from his back, which were transparent like glass, only had their edges white. He adorned a white armour and a silver wand.
