There was no going back now, Felix knew this well, so he summoned his sword albeit unwillingly.
"Please… don't make me do this." He muttered even though he knew it was hopeless.
He couldn't expect people that had experienced so much to listen to a few heartfelt words.
So as they slowly made their way toward him, he didn't blame them.
This situation happened because the Demir decided to destroy humanity.
They decided to turn humans into mindless slaves.
"… I will not forget this day." He remarked as he closed his eyes to hold back the tears threatening to come out.
As he got to his feet, the first attack came.
Since they had no weapons, the slaves used the chains that bound them.
All Felix saw was a flying chain before a dull pain shot through his body.
He reached out and touched the side of his head.
It felt wet.
He glanced at the one that attacked.
A middle-aged man with his lips sewed shut and his body structure akin to a tall bamboo.
"I understand your pain," Felix said. "I promise to carry it with me."
Another attack came but this time Felix grabbed the chain and held onto it.
"Equip…" Felix bit his lip as an attack came from behind and struck his head. "Gladiator."
As the familiar power rushed through him, Felix called out to Aya. "Please… help me ensure their deaths are quick and painless."
He was a newbie fighter.
All the system gave him were skills and fancy opportunities.
How he used it depended on him at the end of the day.
After suffering three more attacks, Felix's vision changed from colors to a world of numbers.
Everyone and everything was made up of numbers.
Within seconds and with Aya's help, he saw each person's weak spot.
But his body still didn't move.
By this time, several bloody marks had appeared on Felix's body as he suffered a few more attacks.
"Activate skill… Berserk Mode." Felix muttered.
As he felt his reasoning being clouded by rage, Felix finally moved.
Nay, it wasn't Felix, it was more like his instinct took control of him and he moved based on that.
He swung his blade once at each numerical body that came at him and accurately struck their weak spot.
There was no blood, only numbers.
Even as a few weak screams erupted, Felix moved unfazed after all, why would he be affected by numbers?
And so, he brandished his blade with precision.
Each time, he reaped a life, a more automated voice than Aya's own would sound in his head.

As he swung his blade for the 19th time, the system energy was depleted.
With a beep, the active skill [Berserk mode] and Unique Skill [Analyst] was forcibly canceled to prevent placing a strain on Felix before the title [Gladiator] was also unequipped.
[Please standby as the system attempts to transform the acquired soul essence into Ordena]
As the system message appeared, Felix's reason returned, and with it, his vision.
What greeted him was a hall bathed in blood.
The bodies of the slaves he cut down lay peacefully on the ground, their faces were peaceful and no more than one cut was on their bodies.
They had died swiftly and without pain but it still caused Felix heartache as he gazed upon such a scene.
Just as he wanted to turn to Dyara, he heard a tiny scream.
Before he could turn, someone climbed his back and used chains to wrap around his neck.
Felix gripped the chain but discovered there was hardly any strength behind the attack.
Even in his weakened state, his assailant was weaker.
So he pulled and bent his back before sending the person behind him over.
Bam
Felix could only stay his hand as he saw that the one that attacked was the young slave girl.
Her eyes were bloodshot and she looked more like a feral beast than a normal girl.
If she didn't experience all this, what kind of life would she have lived?.... This crossed Felix's mind as he stared intently at her.
"Kill her." Dyara's annoying voice was heard.
But Felix didn't move and just like that, time seemed to slow down for him.
[Notice. Use Weapon's Vault]
"…Aya."
[If you want to save the human girl, use Weapons Vault]
"I thought you couldn't afford to be noticed by Dyara," Felix spoke softly.
[Notice. Time difference can only work for so long!]
Felix slowly nodded as he activated the system interface and clicked on [Weapons Vault]

Unique Skill [Weapons Vault]
Description: This skill has the following effects…
*Subspace storage- can be used to store any object. Its size is infinite.
*Weapon creation- As long as the user has the corresponding design, there is no need to bother with a weapon as the vault would automatically generate the best weapon suitable for the skill. (Note: weapons created are capable of evolution into mythical artifacts as long as conditions are met)
*Ego weapon formation- After a weapon is created, the vault possesses the power to create weapons with consciousness as long as materials are provided. (Note: Can only be carried out on one type of weapon at a time and the material required is a soul with a powerful obsession)

By the time Felix was done viewing the screen, the effect of Time Difference had ended.
He was greeted by the screams of the young girl causing him to glance at Dyara.
"Either kill her or watch me torture her further."
The muscles on Felix's face contorted as he screamed. "Dyara!"
Puchi
Dyara was taken aback as a strange chill rose across her spine causing her to stop her actions.
Of course, there was no need since the young girl was already dead.
Felix's blade pierced her heart, ending her life instantly.
As tears trailed down his cheeks, Felix muttered. "I'm sorry I allowed you to suffer…"
Suddenly, time paused as he found himself in a strange space.
Before him, the young girl stood with a smile on her face.
Unlike her physical appearance, this spiritual version was without blemish.
"You…" Felix trailed off.
The young girl moved her lips but the words were transmitted directly to his head. "Thank you."
Once again, Felix experienced heartache.
"Please become my sword… I promise I will avenge you and every other person that died at my hands today."
The young girl remained silent briefly before nodding. "Promise me."
"What?"
"The first Demir we will kill together… let it be that mean lady that made us kill ourselves."
Felix nodded. "I accept."
"Then please… take care of me."
With that, the young girl's spirit broke into tiny lights and floated into Felix's sword.
As they made contact, a bright light enveloped his vision and Felix blacked out.
